Let’s be fair - wilder knew he could still add to the squad when the window was still open. I think Norwood was probably always on his radar just in case he because available.

He knows he has to have to squad set for the first game this time. And it’s whu it’s viral we get some more over the line soon

Been at Forest all his career. Every time a new manager comes in (and there's been a good few) they play him. Must be doing something right, must be a model professional and always gives 100%. At 24 he's a great addition to our sqd. If Wilder can get that little bit extra out of him we'll be laughing!

He didn’t get the transfers before August wrong though, they were great transfers.

We should be buying players who’ve stood out in the Championship (Freeman, Maupay, McBurnie etc) not players who’ve been bang average for years, in bang average teams.

Two years ago the 4 top scorers in the Championship were 1st Vydra, 2nd Lewis Grabban and joint 3rd Bobby Reid and Leon Clarke.

Burnley bought top scorer Vydra and he scored ONE goal last season in the PL.
Cardiff bought Reid from Bristol City and he SCORED five goals last season in the PL.
Leon Clarke wasn’t the same plater last season.

Most Championship strikers don’t make the step up to the PL, hence why untried players from the Championship are usually cheap.
It seems madness to pay well over 30 million on Maupay and McBurnie when history shows that they’ll probably need time (a few seasons) to adapt to the higher level.
