Liverpool haven't lost at Anfield in 2 full Premier League seasons.

Can we get them away in the first game of the season so we can break the record?

Thanks

Last time we were in the Prem versus the 'Big Six'.

Tottenham 2-0 Blades
Arsenal 3-0 Blades
Man City 0-0 Blades
Liverpool 4-0 Blades
Man Utd 2-0 Blades
Chelsea 3-0 Blades

Let's hope we can do a bit better this time around.

Warnocks ridiculous game plan of playing away for the draw. As soon as you concede you're fucked as theres no plan B. Heads drop and you get a mauling.
Liverpool away we lose 4-0. Two penalties in first 30 mins. Warnock blames ref saying Gerard bought them. Then asked why we were still so negative and he said that if we had played an attacking game we would have got stuffed!!!

Liverpool, Spurs and Villa away were by far our first performances that season. We got battered in all three, as I remember it.

We were unlucky at Man Utd and at Chelsea, I seem to recall Kazim-Richards (I think) hitting the crossbar and a few other chances. That was the game Hulse went off injured too.

If we play our game our way we will stay up but our way will mean we get the odd tanking
I’ll take that, keep to our normal style of play and we’ll be fine.

Teams like Man City and Liverpool are obviously a different beast with the astronomical funds being used on wages alone so we shouldn’t really be expecting anything from them games but let’s use them as a free pop at it so to speak, that’s what most teams should do instead of sitting back, ensue a barrage of attacks and you end up losing anyway.

Liverpool - Gerrard cheating
Man Utd - Shelton penalty
Chelsea - Rob Hulse leg break

Just one point from any of those would have been enough

Not even that tbh – if we’d just conceded two fewer goals in any of the losses we’d have stayed up on goal difference. A 3-0 loss at Anfield and 2-0 loss at Arsenal would have done it.

Portsmouth, home. 1 -0 up Squinny special (?)
Claude Davis and Gerrard (GK) playing, "After you". "I wouldn't dream of it, after you". Not taking responsibility to clear from our area.
Pompey player nipped in and scored.
Ridiculous goal, equalled by L***s at home this season.

That was when Man City were crap too. The match was so dull.

Everton at home when the keeper (was it Kenny back in by then) f*cked up and gave them a penalty after we were winning and were comfortable!

The Villa one second to last game was the killer. 3-0 down by half time. No way should we have shipped 3 there. We were awful

the match that really pi##ed me off was Bolton away in the prem last time

Bolton were absolute garbage that day ( think they were on a bad run at the time ?!? )
we just sat back and trying to hold out for a 0-0 with no intention of trying to attack , I remember Kazim-richards coming forward with the ball and literally had no team mates near him -(or even in their half )
lost 1-0 to a lateish goal i think and spent about 2 hours trying to get out that shi##y car park

i have no doubt at all CW willl give it a go and in my opionin this team /management could easily cause probelms at plenty of away grounds
there will be a few spankings but in many ways its a 3 tier league in 1 and persoanlly think we could win at any of the bottom 2 tier teams
