I just find it mind boggling that being older has any relevance. I dont even argue the fact, right or wrong. Could be just another of their fake facts for all I care but I genuinely dont give a fuck, yet he insists it must hurt!
I just find it totally bizarre as in real terms it earns you sweet FA! If anything given they had a head start on us surely they should be the bigger team in the city if it's at all relevant so their age advantage is actually a failure.

Me trying to point out the irrelevance is just met with daft comments like "it hurts, admit it".

Besides it being all they have left to cling on I'm baffled!

The true Sheffield club is and always has been United. They didn't add Sheffield to their name until the late 1920's, I think when they moved to the sty it was not even in the then borders of Sheffield. Anyways Barnsley FC have been promoted so South Barnsley blues can revive their true rivalry and enjoy their local derbies.

In my job, the older you are, the more fucked you are. Backs fucked, knees fucked and you can't keep up with all the new rules and changes coming in. Then of course there's the you g lads coming through. The new lads have got shiny new tools. The stamina. The arrogance. The will to work through the elements. Whereas the older guys, when the going gets tough will pack up and go home.
