We were in Family Stand as a one off, the PA is way too loud, I want to be able to hear the person next to me without them having to shout in my lug hole. regardless of who's doing the announcing.

GS is annoying at times, but it does prove how difficult a job it is when someone takes over the reigns, in front of 30k is really in at the deep end, he wasn't outstanding but he wasn't as bad as some suggest, at least he wasn't over familiar with the players when they were subbed passing comment on how they'd played

No. Some just find you and a minority of others that obsessed that you've lost sight of being rational about it.

You've now taken to exaggerating or picking out the quiet bits as unacceptable.

Saturday wasn't a great atmosphere but it wasn't as bad as you and some others are portraying.

We played poorly and despite being in front twice, never looked comfortable. Whether you like it or not that will negatively affect the atmosphere irrespective of our position in the league.

I watched Liverpool yesterday and the same could be said of their fans at times. And Anfield on song is one of the loudest grounds I've been to anywhere.

Wilder isn't moaning about our support, but then he'll remember playing for us when we got promoted out of this league with much smaller crowds and some shocking home atmospheres by comparison, when you had a Kop and West Terrace to help create noise compared to now.

So why does he have to come on EVERY post slagging Blades fans. Why doesn't he just shut the fuck up. Problem at the Lane is a lot of tension amongst the fans. Happens to every team chasing something. Been to Anfield a few times over the last few seasons and it is totally overrated.

Thats my take on it. Understandable he has reacted given some of the shite you see on Facebook, but not the best reaction if you would like to do the job again.

Puts me in mind of one "exit interview" I once had. When asked if there was anything I'd like to say, I replied "run a Care Home, you couldn't run a fucking tap". Needless to say I didn't bother asking for a reference................

Your as in not us? Or your as in referring to each individual fan for being quiet?

Either way odd and not the wisest post imo. If he's had loads of unwarranted abuse then he could quite easily have responded by just referring to the people who have posted it, rather than aiming it all rather generally.

Never heard of him before and for all Gary Sinclair's seemingly self gratification, it does highlight he's pretty good at being the announcer.
