Yeah I did mean ‘wasn’t’ !I assume you mean 'wasn't going to get to it...'
In that situation then he should obviously have cleared it but the situation with Hutchinson happened quite quickly and he obviously made a snap decision. But it's all about trust isn't it. If Fleck trusts Henderson and he thought Henderson had shouted that it was his then I can understand why he might have left it.
That’s bollocks mate.Have to be honest here... I'm not sure that's anything too different to what will happen in many a game. Fleck still shouldn't take a chance in that situation and just clear the bloody ball.
So you ignore any shout from your GK? No mate, it’s bollocks.Slightly embarrassed CW has even raised this to be honest...surely this kind of thing happens all the time....Fleck should have ignored any shout in that circumstance and planted the ball firmly in row Z.
I don’t know if you were there mate but the atmosphere was very tense and intensifying so it does have a chance of happening, Wilder and Fleck wouldn’t lie for something like this. The fans that are questioning it don’t know a lot about football if they think it didn’t happen and need to dish an apology out to our manager and player.Slightly different point, but shouldn’t Fleck be able to distinguish between the voice of his own keeper that he’s played alongside all season and a player he has barely heard before? Perhaps Hutchinson does a brilliant Hendo impression...
Did he fuck and irrespective of that he’s heard that shout, that’s all you want to hear as a player and a fan.Fleck didn't have his back to goal, he was facing the keeper with the attacker behind him.
I’m sorry but that’s cheating mate and I certainly wouldn’t be chuffed if we won a game like that. That's not cheating. It's shithousery, but it's not cheating.
You'd be chuffed if one of ours did that and it went in. It's a bit of gamesmanship. It happens.
Shut up you Fleck hater, you’re pathetic. This is no excuse for Fleck’s serious error. Mitigation maybe, but no defence.
No, we wouldn’t, it’s pathetic and as clear as day that the shout had happened.Fair enough. I didn't know that. Refs highly unlikely to hear that shout over all the noise.
Still reckon we'd be chuffed if one of ours did it and scored, though. Fickle bunch we are.
Yeah I did mean ‘wasn’t’ !
But the point is that these situations are not clear cut and with a split second to react - if in doubt, get it arrrggghhhtt.
It would, however, have been hillarious if he'd have scored, but the ref saw it and ruled the goal out.If Hutchinson shouts "leave lt" to deceive Fleck into not playing the ball,it is a caution and the restart is then an indirect free kick.Unfortunately,it is an offence that is very difficult to prove,it is worth the risk as the worse that can happen is a yellow card and at best you can win a tight game by cheating.

In the Laws of the game it is deception,no different to Rodrigues handball 'goal' for West Brom,we would have been rightly incensed if that had counted, deception is cheating, simple as that. All Wilder has done is call Hutchinson a cheat, quite right !!!Why would Wilder even say this? FFS, even if its true, you can’t condemn Hutchinson for doing it, that’s exactly what you’d expect an attacking player to do.
Sounds to me like Flecks making an excuse for his monumental fuck up !![]()
No need to,the silly twat missed anyway. It was good to see Fleck not drawing the ref's attention to it.
Just got on with game.

Cheating? Its football not some board game. Jesus, in that case Billy Sharp ‘cheats’ from the first minute to the last. When he receives the ball with no immediate support he invariably falls over at the slightest contact, he regularly gives defenders a subtle nudge to knock them off balance, but that’s all part of the game. Players appeal for corners that they know are goal kicks, they pinch 10 yards taking a throw in.
Only the other week Wilder was shouting at Madine to go over to the far side of the pitch, ten seconds later he subs him.
Is deliberately wasting time cheating too ?![]()

If it was as clear as day, how come nobody mentioned it until today?
This was my post that I thought had happened during the game. I don’t like to brag as that’s not my way but if I see some people calling our players out, questioning them then I’ll tell anyone if I see fit that they’re speaking bollocks.I’ve seen this mentioned a lot of times today but it is possible that he’s had a shout of leave it from Hutchinson, from what I can see, why else would he not clear it?
There’s a lot of people got the daggers out for Fleck this season, not saying you two have by the way, I’m just so glad Wilder appreciates what he brings to the team.
After all we heard about him being a hard fucker, Billy Sharp outmuscled him all game

He only threw the fireworks to free his hands up for the kidney punching.Billy kicked the shit out of all of 'em apparently and was then outside throwing fireworks at old women, clearly recognisable as he still had his kit on.
No doubt someone saiid on PorkTalk.

Agree totally about this with you.
it's quite obvious that a load on here have never played the game at anything like a serious level.
Listening to your GK playing at the back is absolutely paramount to a cohesive defence.
If there is NO call - then a player responds. If Fleck hears a call then he leaves.
I would like to think hendo has a call for his defenders though - something other than "keeper"
