He also said Baldock and JOC would be OK for yesterday.Think Wilder said all should be okay for next Monday night
I'd worry that Freeman's ankle might balloon today, terrible challenge.
They showed it at least six times on TV after the game. Made me and Mrs NYB wince and turn away every time. Awful challenge.Said the same on another thread
Absolutely shocking challenge, a real leg breaker if the connection was 2 or 3 inches higher
Only Freemans ankle bending and giving way stopped a horrendous injury
Might still be an injury that keeps him out for a few weeks, but it could have been much much worse
If the 3 are fit, for me Egan and O'Connell start alongside Basham but Baldock back on the bench. Baldock is my favourite United player currently but I think Freeman has performed really well since his recall and looks noticeably fitter so should retain his place (assuming he doesn't suffer any ill effects from the Gibbs challenge referred to above).
Praise for Cranie and Johnson providing solid cover in the last few games - will be unlucky to miss out but I think Bash has to return and if JOC is back then Stevens moves back across to LWB.
even more remarkable that they've kept 3 clean sheets given the changesShould we be really changing a winning side though?
All should be okay for the derby
