Just read his 80-88 diaries. Not one mention of the Blades but many mentions of the pigs and he mentions attending many of their London games in that period. West Ham, Charlton, Arsenal etc. We were largely shit throughout the eighties while the pigs were on the up so I guess he found their games more enticing in the smoke. Then during the 80 Days TV series ('88 and the Blades fortunes turning) he mentions the Blades several times and finds out results against Blackpool and Newcastle. I think he's one of those oddballs who supports both clubs. Nice bloke though.
