I think Duffy and Dowell would work very well together, Dowell picks up the ball, runs with it, draws defenders in and then plays it to Duffy in more space than he usually gets

Surprised by that comment – he’s been the least poorest of our 3 in midfield so far, and his perfectly weighted ball to Stevens resulted in the pen.

I don’t think the changes have worked. We’ve been more direct to Madine, and I don’t think Dowell is doing enough either on or off the ball compared to Duffy.

Getting cut open down our right too often today.
