If like it looks like we sign that Kunt then that’s me done for this season don't want to see him in the red and white of Sheff Utd as a person he’s a full weight wanker and as a professional footballer doesn’t set the right example to the young lads, no doubting the gaffer knows what he’s doing but morally I won’t watch the kunt play so looking forward to next season already without Madine

Being serious I’m surprised no miserable curmudgeon has come up with the theory that he’s been forced on Wilder by McCabe spending the transfer money on Christmas puddings and brandy butter, preventing Wilder from going for his initial target, Harry Kane.

I'd just like you to know that when I refer to this post in future I won't be giving it the context of the first dozen or so words and will only call you "a reliable source".

Would it be possible for the all the cocky hard bastards to just take a step back and contemplate that we could be watching Gary fucking Madine run out in a United shirt.

A mediocre player at best and a total shit house. Yesterday he was a shit player and a cunt. Today you apparently have to run to his defence and call fellow blades snow flakes and a lot else besides.

71 goals in 11 seasons is the only information you need to know...
What a phenomenal scoring record he’s got?. His last goal was 20th January last year??.
I’ve spoken to a mate who’s a Cardiff fan and his words were good riddance to him as he was useless. Normally I’m filled with confidence about our signings but this has left me confused??. UTB

if anyone is throwing it away can i have it instead for free cheers

A new and interesting brand of snowflake has just emerged. Once upon a time they used to be leftie liberals, or millennials who cried in butchers shops.

Now it seems we’ve found a new breed. The Bladey snowflakes who have something akin to a gangster’s moral code when it comes to criminality (of the wrong sort), and collaborating with the unmentionable football club.

I’d love to see a Venn diagram of the long-term Ched sympathisers and the die-hard Madine opposers.

What wages/fee are we paying?
Will this cause more grief?

I remember YTV cameras being at the Cherry Street car park interviewing Derek Dooley and two Blades fans on the day we sold Brian Deane to L**ds in summer 1993. One of the fans was tearing up his season ticket in front of the camera!

He has been on loan to other clubs quite a few times and he seems to have performed less well as a loan signing than a permanent signing. This has dragged his overall strike rate down.

Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield Wednesday are the last two clubs at which he spent any significant amount of time as a permanent signing. His total strike rate at the two clubs was 25.4%

That is slightly worse than Neil Shipperley's record of 11 goals in 39 appearances (28%), but not exactly miles away.

However, it is a bit better better than Webber (20.2%), Kabba (23%) and Peschisolido (21.5%).

We were pretty happy with what all four of those players contributed to our game. Madine seems to be in the same ball park as them so maybe we should see how he fits in before writing him off.

Has anyone mentioned just waiting for what Wilder has to say about the (potential) signing, and perhaps Billy Sharp? It would seem to me they are in the best position for an informed opinion?
Sharp has already said "it's water under the bridge, I didn't take it personally, it's not the first time I've been called fat", it's not as if they have a choice really, and im sure Wilder has asked the players and sounded them out about Madine.

Yes Sharp said that around the time didn't he, or is that quote more recent?

There has obviously been a huge reaction to this news, 99% emotional outbursts and 1% rational thought! The point I was making was that perhaps we should listen to two people at the heart of the matter before we fly off the handle.......bit late now though!!
