I'd like to see the same starting lineup but that would almost certainly mean changes for the visit to Wigan. One game at a time, but a very decent chance for 6 points from these 2 games, which should put pressure on those above (and below). However we can't influence what others do, so just continue to play our way and hopefully some strengthening in January. Another 3-1 today for me, and a very happy new year.

I was sure we’d see some rotation at Ipswich, and when that didn’t happen, against Derby instead – would be very surprised if we come through 3 of these games in a row without a single change. Clarke in for one of Sharp, McGoldrick or Duffy (with McGoldrick switching into that role) would be my guess (assuming no injuries from Derby).

Shame they couldn't hold on at Leeds, to lose an equaliser in injury time is bad enough but to then get beat was almost as much a sickener for about five other clubs as it was for Blackburn

But they scored two goals away at Leeds, so they're dangerous enough

It was big Pod who did it! The fire wasn't going very well so he went around the back and under the stand and came back with a tyre! Daft really and a bit scary.

I was there, what happened then was a line of coppers with buckets of water walked along the side of the pitch to put the fire out, everyone was singing the Laurel and Hardy tune at them. When they walked up the terrace there was a big surge, I fell into one of the coppers and his bucket went flying. Those were t' days.

What a horrible first half performance from us and the officials. Blackburn first to everything and we look knackered. Shocking gamesmanship from them but we’re letting them get away with it by continually falling into the traps. No intensity - can’t understand it after the 2nd half performance on Boxing Day. Chris needs to earn wage at half time. Genuinely one of the worst referees I’ve seen at the Lane in years.
