Now that Hughes has gone, Wilder will obviously be linked with the Southampton vacancy.
I assume he knows now if he has money to spend in January and should have been briefed by HRH and McCabe to let him know their thoughts of winning the takeover battle and what will happen if whoever does.
I would be very surprised if Southampton do not ask permission to speak to him, which will provide us with a clear indication of his and our thoughts going forward.
Incidentally I expect the ownership dispute to be sorted prior to the court case.

It's just before the JTW - they will already know who it is they need to try and stay in the division.

Now if they get relegated from the Prem in April/May, there is every chance in the summer if they decide to start from scratch.

Hope you're right, but for me the last thing they need in their perilous position is a 'promising foreign Manager'

Not on their radar at all. He hasn't managed in the top flight so unlikely anyone at premiership level is interested in him. German manager favourite with Flores, Sousa, Jankovic under consideration. Unlikely they'll consider a British manager although piggy Pearson, ex manager has put his name in the frame.
