We draw against Rotherham and the sky is falling in these players who are taking a bashing have put United back On the footballing map so let's not be negative get behind em because us fans really do make the difference UTB ps Chris Wilder is the best manager we had in years

Its the championship ffs, Rotherham have turned over some decent teams recently, were not bloody barca with 8/10 all over the pitch every single game, we survived n got a point, we know we're short in some areas so we just have to keep going til Jan and hope we get that player/players we lack, if we played like we did v pigs, villa, Bolton every week we'd would have sold em all by now!

It's a mixture of the individual issue of today & the collective frustration of the current run of results. We were poor today against a very limited side and if it wasn't for DH, we might have had a bit of a shellacking. In all honesty, we have been off it for the last 5 or 6 games. I appreciate that we beat Wigan, but they had plenty of decent chances that they squandered.

Yeah I preferred League 1.
good for you

One bad match and we're garbage just about sums up some blades
I didn't say we are garbage I said we were garbage today

if we had put a shift in we'd have won today ,there is a thread full of people saying how wilder is a better manager than Warnock but Warnock never had this problem motivating his players

I think what some fans struggle with is anything negative said is the end of the world in their eyes, any negativity to a player or the manager automatically means we want rid or they are no good. Fleck wank today, just not good enough, he’s still my best player and it’s a pleasure to see him in a Blades shirt. Wilder, wank today with his tactics and subs. I still love him and I truly believe he will go down as our greatest manager.

Wilder out if we don’t get top 6?

Do you mean, 'will he leaver' or 'he should go'? Cos he may well walk if he gets no backing but no way should he be sacked. He makes mistakes, sure (he made a handful today) but he's the best manager we've had in many a year. He goes and this side falls to bits.

Ok then,I thought we were Fucking awesome today,
I thought Wilder was bang out of order in his assessment.
There .....that’s better.

It’s purely frustration at the moment.
Derby away we were superb first half but gifted an early goal and then fell away. Point dropped.
Stoke at home. Wiped the floor with them but let them off the hook and fell for the sucker punch avoidable goal. 2 points dropped
Forest away. Nothing in the game but one lapse of concentration cost us a point.
Pigs home. Missed penalty. 2 points dropped.
Today. Credit where due. Rotherham had a game plan and worked us over but too many players were off the boil. It’s hard for Blades fans to swallow when another team wants it more than ours. When you enter the final minutes and are shutting up shop you have to remain switched on and disciplined. We did neither.
That’s 8 points we have chucked away in the last 6 games. Basically we need a good kick up the arse and start putting teams to bed as well as grinding a result out when we aren’t at our best otherwise we can forget top 6. Over to Wilder......

Mate you need to open your eyes and stop clapping.

If we drew playing well then I would still be upset.

It was just the dismal performance that has got people riled on the back of what sounded like a similar no show at Forest.

What's up with some fans is we keep seeing the same lack of professionalism from players and management week in week out. All some would like to see is a gradual positive progression, doing our homework and not doing the same dumb stuff twice, as happens repeatedly at present.

It's like shouting at your labrador for not winning in a race against a greyhound.

This set of players are not naturally promotion material, Wilder has done amazingly well to have yet again got us so many wins on the board.

Sadly, that creates a situation whereby fans become unhappy as soon as we don't keep up the wins and start to play in a way that is more representative of the squads ability.

There is lots of criticism to be given but it doesn't belong with Wilder

I’m very happy where we are in terms of being in the mix at the moment. However, as spongebobblade says, we should be top by a few points really.

I thought today was going to be a rare occasion where we got more than we deserved. Sadly we shot ourselves in the foot about four times to gift them the equaliser.

I think Freeman needs a rest. I like him and he adds something but he also has a tendency to look way off the pace.

What's up with some fans ? Maybe they are a tad pissed off after another shite performance because we all know the team can do better, a lot better than this.

We played poor and are in poor form. Would be strange if everyone was raving about us!

I think most know we are over achieving and these players will always have a place in our hearts for all they've done but it's still ok to criticise poor performances and point out where we are falling short.

Wilders interview today was spot on. We didn't compete lack we should have and were lucky not to get hammered.

Shite performances are rare.
You can count them on 1 hand (maybe 2 at most) since Wilder has been manager.
That’s pretty impresive, we don’t always win but performance wise we’re always pretty good
But NOT today, even though we gained a point I was more dissapointed that in most matches where we’ve lost,.
Let’s hope it’s just an off day and we bounce back on Tuesday against Brentford.

I think we need to keep a bit of perspective and if you look at our squad, it isn’t one that you would say should finish in the top 6. That might be received as a harsh/negative comment but I just don’t think it is. Wilder has worked miracles with these players and is unable to buy who he wants to take us to the next level. We all know what he needs but it just isn’t affordable.

The problem (if you can call it that) is that he’s got 110% out of the players we have and we have found ourselves in good form and top of the league, 2 seasons running and that increases expectation massively. Essentially, he’s been too successful. If we sit 12th all year it’s accepted, but go top, play some top football, it’s why can’t we do that every week.

We simply don’t have 3 or 4 changes we can make and still put in a top performance. We can’t just take Stevens, Freeman, Duffy, McGoldrick or Sharp off to give us something different. Ideally today you sub Duffy for Duffy and McGoldrick for another Duffy. Win it and break forward in a 5-4-1/3-6-1.

The squad just isn’t there for us to be a consistent top 6 performing team and as soon as that’s realised, the less meltdowns will occur !

I don't think it's about expectation.,I personally think if we made top 6 it would rank alongside United's greatest achievemts in my lifetime

I expected the players to put in a half arsed performance today as they seem to do whenever they are well set to put themselves in a good position for a promotion chase and inexplicably after every international break

They don't seem to have the desire or the pride to put 100% in every week and dig out results when not playing well

totally accurate this mate !! pissing away points for fun from decent positions towards the end of games

To brush it under the carpet as a one off would be nieve ,don't think the fans are being too harsh we've set standards and to accept a performance like that wouldn't help at all.The players need to get there finger out on Tues and perform to the level we expect from them now. we. fans are still with them ,need to be up to speed on tues

There's a difference between critiquing a one off performance and getting on their backs.

I was frustrated after the Pigs game, I'm royally pissed off today. Not by the result, but the attitude and approach by most of the team.

That won't stop me being behind them next time out.
