Twice now in consecutive matches when we've been under the cosh these two have come on and turned it around . Have we finally found the way to see out games ?
The speed of Johnson and the menace of Clarke seems to put the fear of God into the opponents defence..

Agree enjoyed Johnsons cameo in particular. The man is rapid just what we needed late in the game. Leon got applause for his chasing down and Johnson for that crunching tackle at the end.

Marvin has got so much pace & noone chases down & grafts like Leon does. He has always given 100 % week in week out. Chris says his attitude has always been & is exemplary for us. Today Chris said " he works his nuts off ".

I thought they were great when they came on. Leon did some important defensive work in both halves. Johnson gave us some pace to run the channel and take pressure off the defense. I'd have them on a bit earlier though.

I can see where you are coming from....Marvin is so speedy & would create proper chances for Leon ....as Leon is willing to put in the miles by chasing down every defender & the oppo goalie. Noone else seems keen on doing this knackering up role as it uses up so much energy. So like v Hull Flecky did it once then noone did it all game. Its a good job the penalty equalled 3 points or I think Chris may not have been too pleased at energy conservation. As our Manager sees everything .....especially inactivity. He misses nowt !

He sees himself more as a left biased attacking midfielder, think he's said that himself. Can see him coming on for various attacking players, maybe Duffy, rather than slotting in as wingback, depending on how games are going.

A great option to have.
