Gregory was how shall i say, pants tonite at the Sty.
What a shit game that was, cant comment on the goals as i missed them.
Apart from creating and setting up a goal you mean?
We are well stocked in midfield and need a striker so would make sense. Not sure about Gregory but time is running out and we need bodies up front.
Basham could, maybe, Leonard seems to be 5th or even 6th choice especially when Paul Coutts is backGregory is a stop gap if we are looking to progress. Nothing more, he might do ok but he’s not a top striker in championship.
Think it’s looking like it’s gonna go to the wire for bodies so contingencies makes sense.
That said I’m not sure we are well stocked for athletic midfielders who can tackle and get box to box - Leonard’s the only one to fit that model.
I believe everything God tells me to 100%And you believed him?!
He's longed for Gregory ever since he took the job.
Leaving it till the very last minute to get our main striker signing in only for it to be Gregory would be perfectly typical and so predictable.
Says?Deal for him with Leonard going to Millwall could be on.
Seriously don't think he's any improvement on Sharp so I would be surprised if it happened - but who knows with the merry-go-round of transfer dealings? And you believed him?!

We do not need another aged journeyman, we already have three. We need pace and a guy who can take the ball past a man to create his own chances.
All our strikers would then all need replacing next year.
I also rate Leonard and would not be in favour of this.
Please don't cry, sweetheart. If what I put there upsets you so much there's no way you'll cope on deadline day.
Deal for him with Leonard going to Millwall could be on.
Sorry but you are the only one crying.... about a rumour that someone posted with no substance or sources. Typical Ricky.... Wasnt on your list of players we should sign so fuck united, typical and expected..... yawn.
Actually, he was. When our aspirations were considerably lower. We since sold Brooks for £12m, and have only signed 30 year old McGoldrick up front. Gregory would be a below par signing. I'm sure you disagree.... oh wait, you don't have football opinions do you. You just cry about anyone who expresses anything other than complete satisfaction with your precious.
What a completely unexpected reply from you. I have plenty of footballing opinions thanks, I dont waste time looking for any chance to slag the club off though, perhaps something you should look at? Wilder has said, from the very start that our pursuit of a striker will literally go down to the deadline, but because we havent signed anyone yet, then we wont, or will only panic buy someone? The fact wilder said it will go down to the wire, leads me to believe that he knows exactly what hes doing, who will improve us, who we can afford and who is likely to be available with a number of options available to us should stuff happen to derail his main plans, but I forgot, doesnt fit the agenda does it? Useless, unambitious united. WHERES MONEY GONE. FUCKING MCCABE AND BOG ROLL PRINCE.
Weird one with Gregory as everytime I've seen him against us and on TV he's looked poor but the Millwall fans adore him.
Played well against us at the Den last December, scored their first goal and set up the 2nd goal by making a brilliant recovery tackle on JOC before laying the ball to the scorer.I really don't get people's negative view of Gregory. Is it perhaps based on the 1-2 times he's played again Utd and not done that much? The Millwall supporters think he's wonderful and would be gutted if he left, although them signing Bradshaw may have got them fearing it happening.
Personally, I think he'd do a decent job or Utd assuming he'd get enough opportunities (something I don't think Leonard has had) and really don't blame CW for considering him as an option. Worst case would be to not land anyone by Fri and be left with the 3 + Woodburn + Lavery which I would think everyone would agree is very and too light.
