Looks like a league one defender. Hopefully just settling in, but looks really poor based on the first 2 games. Certainly not 4 million pounds worth on this showing.

Sorry but I did tell you he was no improvement over what we already had.

A complete waste of £4m. Stearman is better.

That money could have gone on Waghorn - who will fire Derby to promotion this season btw.

Why is everyone saying fucking sorry. Say it as it is. No cunt on here gives a fuck who's sorry or not.

The nagging concern I have had about the Egan transfer, is that even at the very point when the transfer was being unveiled, Wilder was waxing lyrical about how 'Brentford are the benchmark for scouting and getting good players in for value and selling them on at the right time'.

As Wilder was saying it, I couldn't believe that he didn't realise what he was saying, namely that Brentford are the best around for moving players on at exactly the right time.

“They’ve got 150 people in an office in London doing this all the time” apparently. That’s what Wilder said, and I quote.

So, get 150 people in an office in Sheffield doing it then Wilder if that’s the best way to do it?

Can we sell him before Thursday?

Sunderland May take him for £2m

He looks poor, but I'm far from writting off, and I'm a big Stearman fan.

I thought he improved in the second half. May just need some time. The same comments were being made about Stearman this time last season.
what?? that he wasn't as good as Jake? still don't think he is btw and Egan is nowhere near.

It's rather humorous how he was completely owned by Flint for the second after Wilder's comments when we singed him.

Far too early to judge him, ffs give him a chance! Yes he has looked a bit edgy in part but it takes time to bed in a defence & get used to how each other play together, in the same vein I would have thought Henderson should have come & claimed 2 of the crosses that led to goals, & I am sure that if the same were to happen in 10 games time he would by then. Not ideal but they have to work as a unit not individuals & that takes time. They looked better when they went to a 4 at the back too.

If I remember correctly, Stearman had a dodgy start and made a fair few errors when he first joined. Settled down after that.

You see Wilder... that's why Flint cost more than Egan.

Is it wise to spend that sort of money on a tough ball winning centre half who's only about 6 foot 1?

Maybe he's just really good at drinking lots and lots of beer?
