You think that's bad, just hope Rebok don't AAA Rebok what they do with stripes (2).jpg AAALets hope they don't go with Rebok.jpg get in

The stars are for the points we took from the piggies last season!:D

As usual the shirts will be out when people already have had or on their summer hols. As usual they will run out of medium and large and many wont bother. The commercial department do it every year, they dont stock enough stuff in medium and large for xmas either, nor did they restock those items until end of the season. Clubs losing money due to these issues. There’s are some real shortsighted people running that department thats for sure. Also i cant see too many wanting a shirt with ramsdens in big fuck off letters. What next, greggs ?

Had this moan several times last season. I bet Citeh & Arsenal don't run out of 7-8 year old kits in the run up to Christmas.

Maybe our commercial department were too busy giving each other hand jobs for sourcing electronic advertising hoardings and neglected the kit launch strategy...

That's the same template as last season's white shirt of which Adidas have "ran out of stock" on (despite it still being on sale on loads of teamwear stores)

Which is probably why Adidas had run out of stock :D

So, if rumours are right that we're gonna be having thin stripes again (like sunderland)...

If we use the style of collar that Ze Germans use on their away....

germany_2018_adidas_primeknit_away_shirt_eqt_green_real_teal_white.jpg

And maintain the stripes on the back. We could get a rework of this...

No. Fucking. Way. Looks pink from the stands and a bog-standard third division fuck up.

However...nothing showing our shirts, but here's a link I've stumbled upon just to show we're not the only club who have trouble designing a decent shirt.

Bristol City (unimaginative shite)

Dull City

Middlesbrough. Decent away shirt, shame about the slapper.

That’s fuckimg awaful, Sunderland got slated last year for that awful kit, and I remember thinking thanks fuck we don’t have that, I’m nit sure if the club realises but kits and identity are important and this is the worse thing I’ve ever seen....sort it out Wilder

It often happens that a radical change of direction from the recognised strip coincides with a downturn in a club's fortune. Sunderland, Wendy changing from their stripes back in the early 70s to that blue with white sleeves and the current 'Chansiri' abomination and us with that crap white with indistinguishable red pin stripes from a few years back.

I agree but we’ve had great shirts the last 2 seasons and ruined them with shit sponsor logos. I know we want money from sponsors but some people talk like we should be begging these companies. It should be an honour for them to sponsor our shirts. I don’t think saying yes but your logo will have to be be black or white cos green (or orange) will look fucking wank should be a deal breaker for these companies.

Football shirts are big business. There’s a whole culture grown up around it since the late 70s. People like them to look good and the sponsors are part of that look. I know some people will say “I don’t care as long as it’s red and white or as long as they’re winning” which is fair enough but these people keep opening and commenting on threads tilted “New kit thread” or similar!

Doesn't work like that unfortunately mate.

Sponsorship rights are generally sold to the highest bidder to maximise revenue: there's little choice from the club's point of view.

We've had black, plain sponsor logos from two rather inoffensive companies. What's the issue there?

Neowww. It's business and nowt more. They don't give a shit about the clubs they sponsor, they just want brand exposure. Do you think Chevrolet give a toss about Man U?
