How long before some start to question that assertion?

"He can only do it in the lower leagues"

"He's not up to Championship standard"

"Lacks experience at this level"

etc etc
 
If we get the cheque book out and buy more like the 4 flops we bought in the JTW then it would just be more wasted money. I'd swap all 4 for one up and coming striker from a lower league who can shoot and has scored a few goals.

If we keep buying other clubs rejects and running big squads of technically weak players with little evidence of them being coached properly on the training pitch next season could be a struggle.

And where is our scouting system, when was the last time they unearthed a half decent young striker other than the odd rarity through the academy. Their record is poor.

To be fair none of the JTW players were other clubs rejects. They were all key players at their clubs.

Not long. The first salvo will be ‘tactically naive’ quickly followed by ‘lost the dressing room’
