So after the missed opportunity in what by all accounts was a dire spectacle at Ipswich, tonight we face Burton Albion in the rearranged fixture from the 3rd of March..... And surely this has got to be a way to get back to winning ways. Nothing is certain in football though, and we'll need to have a cutting edge to get past the parked bus....

Anyway....

Any team news? :)

Please not unchanged...

Surely Clarke and Duffy have to start if fit ?

Ched does not appear to be the answer....

Really hoping for a performance of some quality tonight, and if we can get that early goal, I fancy us to get a few. That'll be the problem though if we don't score early. I'm gonna be optimistic though, and suggest a 4-0 Blades win, with the early goal making the difference, and a move back up to 7th with more than all to play for after that....

Ex-manager syndrome. Read Adkins for that. Looking at the view from, a couple comments are against Clough. I haven’t seen Burton but I know how they play...

Sordell out isn’t he?

On paper we win. Ipswich was a snooze-fest but a clean sheet can always be looked at as a bonus.

I’m a Ched fan. For me he needs a break and tonight could get him that. Leon needs a goal, too, and again tonight could be ideal.

Duffy is back so that’s man of the match sorted. Brooks needs more than 15 minutes.

Looking forward to it if I’m honest

If Leon's still not fit we need to either persevere with Ched, recall the Don or play Wilson from the start. It's a toss up for me, maybe start with Wilson and bring on Don / Ched if things aren't going well. I don't think Ched did that bad against Ipswich, I'd like to see how he does with better service. Everyone including me is clamoring for Brooks to start, but of course Wilder knows best. He could still be weak due to his illness. Whatever happens I'd like to see us be a bit more gung ho, though against a Clough team all out attack is possibly not the best idea. I'm going for a nervy win.

As said previously, I'd love to see Leon and Ched up top tonight, I'd play Lundstrum and fleck, with Duffy in front too.

Absolute must win. Simple as that. If we don't we can forget the play offs.

We need to try and get Duffy and Brooks on the pitch from the start. And hopefully Clarke's back.

We could really do with an early goal. We should go all out to win without being complacent.

Please United, don't let Clough get another result at Bramall Lane.... that embarrassment 2 years ago was more than enough.

Sordell out isn’t he?

Played last game for them and can't see owt about him not starting, although I wouldn't rule out a mystery injury.

If he does play we need to make it hostile of course, but not let the game turn into 'Sordell on ice' or an equally shit Sordell-based show.

That cunt will probably nick them a 1-0 win.

It was bad enough losing to Sadkins if we were to lose to a Nigel Cunt side I may have to go and have a lay down on a railway line.

Not that confident to be honest, we couldn’t hit a cow’s arse with a banjo at Ipswich. I think Burton will be far more up for this game than Ipswich were on Saturday so we need a vast improvement in the final 3rd if we’re going to win this game.

Duffy and Wilson in for Lundstram and Ched.
Agree with the “ins” but not the “outs”. Lundstram done well I think. I’d drop Basham tbh based on what I’ve seen of him in the past 3 away games. He’s gone hoof crazy!

finally, good pull back and well finished...shows what a better quality of ball does, now need to press this home and go for more goals

always hard to defend those pacey pull back and cross 6 yard box balls

Like a friggin morgue..jesus when i remember what it was like when kop was standing around the deane agana era
