I quite like an early kick off. There’s still pubs open before and you can have a few after without getting an earful for ‘being home late’.
Brown bear wer shut until further notice last time I went passedMy crew and I have a meet up with the 'Wall at the Brown Bear after the game. First to eight pints wins. We're on Sams, they're on lager top, or shandy as we call it. Yorkshire puds are the tie breaker. They wouldn't take us on in a Tetleys house. Soft Southern shite.

Doesn’t everyone just go to the pub 2 hours earlier? Not quite sure what the problem is. Leave home at the same time, drink after the game instead of before, get home same time. No interruptions during game for people caught short due to high intake of beer prior to game. Win, win.

Not here it doesn’t.Little tip - if you come home at the same time after every game it ceases to be known as "late"![]()
We've already played Brentford at home mate, on opening day.
We're away to them at 3pm on Good Friday.

Millwall have had a lot of 3pm away kickoffs this season so I don’t think their reputation alone is the sole reason behind it, I think it’s down to us this one because our lot have had a fair few pops at them in the last few years but it’s nothing the authorities shouldn’t be able to deal with.It will be down to Millwall fans reputation. Still frustrating.
To be fair, I wouldn’t take you in a Tetleys house either, leeds piss. Although I believe it’s now brewed in Wolverhampton and it’s still shit.
Means getting up a bit early on a Saturday doesn't it? Especially if you live a bit away.Doesn’t everyone just go to the pub 2 hours earlier?
Only good if you have won! Shit if you haven't.I personally prefer early kick offs, you can watch United and then have Soccer Saturday on and see the scores coming in.
I was looking forward to scrap but 1pm is a bit too early for me
Oh come on - as if there are jobs in Doncaster......but it’s not traditional! Saturday footie is a 3 o’clock kick off (huffs and puffs with indignation). Anyway, I work Saturdays until 12......in DONCASTER!

If the fortune tellers were any good they could have predicted this.Wants to pay his previous beer supplier befo
Caravan repairs, peg making.....
I'm well above 50 and I do.There was a time when Tetleys was a fine, fine pint. You'd need to be well above 50 to remember it though.
Not surprised really I suppose, they always bring about a 1000 yoofs who seem intent on causing trouble and having run ins with our locals. Surprised not all their away matches don't ok early, why just at BL ?,surely they take the same boys to all games week in week out
I still remember my first pint of Tetley's in the Rutland on Paternoster Row. Must have been in 1977. Nectar of the gods! There was a time when Tetleys was a fine, fine pint. You'd need to be well above 50 to remember it though.
Not true. I'm only 49, and remember it well. Stones too was a good pint, once upon a time. There was a time when Tetleys was a fine, fine pint. You'd need to be well above 50 to remember it though.

I put that age range to include when most people start drinking and didn't factor in the pink drink boozers who started when they were 6.![]()
