I have to say, whether he comes on loan to us or not, he looks an excellent prospect

This is where it's difficult not to feel conflicted about Wilder upholding his principles. Kent's a very good player who would be likely to start for us and would be a difference maker. But I suppose consistently applying those principles is a key reason behind his success.

Brooke's unlikely to go anywhere this window. With the addition of Wilson it looks like CW has stuck to his principles and refused to play a player unless he proves his worth.

Without knowing much personally about the player and his attitude, I feel like when the parent club is making demands about how much he plays, with the threat of penalties, there is a chance that this could perpetuate onto the player himself, meaning he would come with a sense of entitlement and expect to play regardless of his effort levels. So for this reason I'm not too bothered about missing out on him even if he is a talented lad. I could be completely wrong and he may have a brilliant attitude, but I know nowt about him.

Probably play even less than he would play here to be fair and that’s without us using wingers

If Carruthers is going there permanently I wouldn't want us paying them any fee on top of that. Carruthers is worth at least 400k.

If he was going there on loan paying them 300k or so on top would be a good deal. Doubt they'd take that but you never know given the current situation there.

I think they’ll be tough negotiations as they know Wilder wants him .
I’ll love us to get him for a couple of hundred grand , but I can’t see it .
Last year would we have sold our best player for that sort of money. We will wait and see.

Heard a little rumour that Ryan Kent is being considered. Personally, iam not sure where he will fit in. I suppose it depends on the Duffy situation and if Ryan is willing to fight for a place.
