I'm guessing late seventies/early eighties and the kid will be around fifty now. I had a coat like that (as did loads of kids). I think they were called snorkel coats, like a nylon parka with a big hood that stuck out and if you didn't have your wits about you some kid would grab the front of the hood, screw it up so you couldn't see then give you a quick punch in the head. For a laugh, as you did in those days.
Must have been cold that day if you could play footy in a coat.
Wouldn't that be classed as a Daguerreotype rather than a photo if it's 1840?Believed to be the oldest photo ever taken in the Sheffield area, dates from 1840.

fucking 'ell, I were scrolling down using the mouse wheel, looked up at the TV, looked back, and he sneaked up on me
Its on the Grade 2 list.Very surprised Bishops House isn't on that list.

Vauxhall Victor?
Thinking about it, Ian Dury should have done a song called Vauxhall Victor.

I know we've had a bit of car spotting recently but the first photo shows a fine example of a Mark 1 Trolly with a two man britches arse power unit. I had several of these in my youth, most ending up as write off for insurance purposes due to excessive recklessness and poor steering.
Mine was two Triang scooters butchered together with a chest of drawers
Eat your fucking heart out Bernie Ecclestone.....
String steering ?
Looks older than Bishops house.
South Road, Walkley?
