In light of the obscenity today, I propose and will be suggesting to the club the following:

That we charge £60 for the equivalent seating for away fans - wherever it is at the Lane.

That you get 2 free home games for the £60, so effectively £20 per game.

Therefore, we can charge Parson Cross Rovers £60 admission on the day.

It might not be do-able, but if it is, we should seriously consider it, and screw these cunts for every penny we can, just like they have done to us.

Must have been sat with that smart arse who I was sat with tonight?

I've looked at this possibility. We're not allowed to charge more than our highest priced home ticket.

Personally I'd fuck them with the allocation instead. 500 in Westfield corner.

Ok then, but are we not allowed to charge £60 and then issue a voucher for 2 free home games?

Personally, and it might just be me, I'd prefer us to set the pricing to something more reasonable. I'd like us to show them how a decent club treats fans.

We need to remember that it's not the fans who have set the prices for our game there but they're the ones we would be punishing by charging extortionate amounts. It'd be a bit rich for us to complain about high prices if we went and did the same

That is fine, but we are getting screwed with our kecks on, and we need to hit back, and hit back hard.

I'd imagine there's some bullshit legality issue around it. It's a tempting idea though.

If there is, fair enough, we can't do anything. If not, I would hope and pray, that frankly we would simply fuck them like they have fucked us. Anyway, I'll be emailing the club and trying to strongly suggest this. Worst they can do is ignore me or say no.

We do that and we lose our right to complain about ticket prices. We complained about what Bolton were charging for the first game last season, we'd be no better.

Personally I'd prefer us to not lower ourselves to their standards.

If you want to do something then boycott the away game. It makes a bigger statement on ticket prices in general and it punishes those who've actually set the prices as they won't get your money.

I am boycotting the away game. My 49500 loyalty points will be donated to a friend.

That's what I'm doing. But I'm afraid I'll be pissing in the wind with that one. We'll still sell out and Piggy greed will prevail.

Iv'e heard we are giving Real Pork the kop, south stand, John St and upper tier.

Yeah just said similar. A boycott would only work if everyone supported it. It would be brilliant if we could achieve it though.

as an owl tyler you are bang on about prices, the clubs are letting the average fan with a family to support make a choice of the match or feed the family.its wrong on so many counts but how do the fans stop it and get their club back.

They stop going, simple.

Bolton last year would've been a good statement, especially being the first game. That one went tits-up as well.

I have to say I'm surprised there hasn't been a major backlash against the pricing policy at Hillsborough. What's the view amongst the fans? Have they just accepted it?

so true but sad when you cant watch your team because of how football is going.
Then you either man up or Kemp down . Ask yourselves if working overtime because Fletcher wants a new Lamborghini is how you want to live your life.

Every year, three teams go up. To my knowledge they've all managed this without turning their fans upside down and shaking their hard-earned out of their pockets every week.

some have accepted as its the way football is going, some are starting to show fuck that i aint going and who can blame them, i dont for 1 as its pathetic and the game we all love is getting taken away from the average fan of his club.£42 for a champ game is fuck off to me as some prem clubs dont charge that.

huddesfield owner is a top man on what he has done with his fans.

I'd price it affordably for both sets of fans and fill the ground to capacity. Take the moral high ground. This is a match for Sheffield people. Not corporate sponsors. Let Sheffield folk, be they Owl or Blade, come and experience it live.

Someone needs to stand up for the working man in these times of madness and United can take that lead. Always the people's club.

The tickets are extortionate and show the pigs up for what greedy inconsiderate pigs they are.

However not so long ago many many many Blades fans paid £50 to watch Dean Hammond and Neil Collins compete with Rooney et al.

It's a fair point.

I was one of them actually. My reasoning at the time was that going on a trip to Old Trafford would be a nice luxury break from seeing us get turned over at places like Gresty Road and Vale Park.
Daft I know, but it was a very depressing season.
