To be fair it was Neil Mellor covering our match today and he was saying how we had totally dominated Barnsley.

Think he is coming across really boring.
Might just be first time tension?

Yeah - he has been really good to be fair. Coming across as very knowledgeable too.

Though the presenter joking about Keith knowing all about gambling wasn't in the best taste given his history tho tbf

They're big mates. Murray always took the piss out of him for it on Talksport and Keith was more than ok about it. I like the fact two genuine mates are discussing things rather than the polished politeness we usually see.

Fair enough that would make more sense - It just seemed like a really odd thing to even bring up out of nowhere otherwise.

I do usually like Murry's enthusiasm for sport in general when he's presenting.

Really enjoying this years Channel 5 show - best football league show since they started on BBC1.

Murray is a great presenter and genuinely is a football fan and knows his stuff. Like how they noted how our centre halfs get forward so well - when we attack like that we are hard to stop.

It would have been a very Alan Partridge thing to do if he didn't know him!

I thought he highlighted our play well we were very good at times looking back it should have been a 3-4 nil drubbing Barnsley were piss poor.

Murry said he would have given him the password to his betting account, really?

That 1-0 win will be by far our easiest game this season so not to much to shout about.

I remember him scoring a belter in front of the kop. Unstoppable shot, was a great goal.

His sister is lovely I used to play her at scrabble!

oh yeah there big friends, to add to the stories of colin & keith, they stayed at the same apartment while they both worked for talksport during euro 2016, remember there being some funny stories then. & then this of when the were out celebrating northern Ireland win v Ukraine (colin murray videoing)

Your probably enjoying it more because we're a Championship team.

And to think we had one numpty in particular on here saying we should follow the Barnsley model in order to progress in this league. (Not you but I'm sure he'll be along soon to justify his case).

Not really - I wasn't meaning in relation to us per se, I meant the show as a whole. Last couple on C5 had George Riley who is a Rugby League man first and foremost and before we had the delights of Manish, Claridge and Lizzie on BBC.

It's mainly down to Murray and using guests who he has had previous working relationships with on radio - the chemistry and style means it is not like some forced robotic repeat of the same old cliches between matches. I really like it.
