I think we got a great deal on Adams as he was not,and still isn't, a £1million player. As for DCL,the jury is still out for me and I am not convinced at all by him
Ask any Birmingham fan about Che and you'll find you're far far wrong.

I'm not going to say more on Che other than that the Birmingham fans believe he has stacks of potential shown in bits and bobs much like with ourselves. A player like that in the championship is still worth much more than £1m though.

Dominic Calvert Lewin scored the goal that won the World Cup for England Under 20's. What more do you want?

They're not our players anymore so I don't really give a monkeys. Selling them enabled us to have our best season in a loooong time.

Yes, but surely we would have got even more points for DCL scoring a scrappy goal in a youth game?

Personally, I form my football opinions entirely on what "Birmingham fans" say. You really can't go wrong.

Seeing as I used to live down there and know plenty of blue noses and speak to them on a regular basis ,their opinion is that he flatters to deceive and in tough games he goes missing. These are fans that actually go to games and have done for 30 years or so.

...and you think their opinion is 'wrong' ?

.... and that means he is worth over £1million ? Really ? Aren't you forgetting that his overall play was very average through the tournament ?

He's started games for Everton in the premier league. Including the merseyside derby. What is he? 19/20? Oh only average at international level how rubbish he must be, despite scoring the winning goal. Yeah, in hindsight I don't think many predicted he'd do quite this much at a higher level after leaving, but £1m is an absolute steal in this day and age. Lookman went to Everton for £9m and has played less games o_O

He's not, I agree.

However, on his CV he's at a Prem Club, he now has numerous Prem appearances, a Prem goal and an U20 World Cup final winner....

That alone will see his value have gone up irrespective of how decent we think he is.

Not if you ask my Birmingham mate. Very underwhelmed with Adams.

I bet if they were to sell him they wouldn't lose anything.

The money we got for Che Adams represented a fabulous deal for us . He was absolutely fucking garbage and his move and the fee received is remiscent of Jordan Slews move .

The downside however is that the move tells us all we need to know about the league we are now in . 1.8 million spent by Birmingham City for Che Adams shows us the ludicrous sums other teams in our division are prepared to spend on shit . And it also shows us exactly why clubs will play hard ball with us when we bid for their players ...... championship clubs come calling for the better players in the league below had better be prepared to shell out some serious cash , look at what Birmingham were prepared to pay for shit !

Ask yourself this . Firstly , would Wilder have been prepared to spend 1.8 million on Adams? And secondly , is the reason why Wilders bids for Leonard and Holmes have been rejected because he's undervalued them or is it because their respective clubs have overvalued them ? I know what I think :)

He wasn't "absolutely fucking garbage"!

He scored 12 goals in a pretty average team, which is very good for a 19 year old.

You can question his attitude but he's shown he has ability and the potential to play higher.

To me he's better than all the strikers we currently have with the exception of Sharp.

He was 19, came from non league and the poster who was replying to me says he was 'fucking garbage'

Dear me.

Fully agree with that last comment. He's easily better than any of our other crop.

I think your opinion that he's not worth a million is massively wide of the mark. He's young, he's English and did relatively well last year. His value hasn't decreased.

I've literally just searched 'Adams #bcfc' on twitter and their fans seem to love him.

He can't be that garbage... and as for his value being less than a million - just deluded in terms of players values nowadays. Simple as.

2 goals against Spurs in a cup semi at 18, the lad clearly hasn't something about him. Will he kick on and make it in the Premier League? Who knows, but if he works hard there is a definite chance.

I few daft tweets is enough to cloud the judgement of some of our fans it seems.

What a pair of muppets Danny and you are,Adams is better than all our our strikers bar Billy, yeah right

Che Adams was garbage
He's easily better than any of our other crop.

Really ?

Bearing in mind this comes from the same guy who absolutely pissed all over Basham and rated him as " Meadowhall League " standard , i think ill politely step aside and allow you to continue ' debating " :D:D:D

Adams managed 12 goals under Adkins.

Hanson, Clarke and Lavery managed 14 between them under Wilder.

Those are facts!

Never miss a chance to stick the knife into United do you,How about career goals, how many has Che scored compared to Leon say,or Ched who has been robbed of 4 years of his career,Chris made the right decision selling Che for the money received, last season proved he called it correct

Just giving an opinion, I really rate Adams, how is that sticking the knife into United?

I bet your admiration for the player only occurred when he left United

Think what you like, I don't really care. I'm here to discuss United and Football in general.

If you want to debate my posts then go for it, I ain't here to justify how much of a blade I am to someone I've never met on a forum.

So i am right,i bet you used to slag him off all the time when he played for us,soon as he leaves,he turns into a better striker than any other at the club bar Billy,i bet last season really upset you,and without looking,i bet you were one of those stamping their feet because we had only drawn away at Oldham

I rated Adams, can be a very exciting player on his day and can score from nothing.

Wouldn't have got a game last season, though. At best he'd have been a Chapman like impact sub.

Oh my goodness gracious me. He scored more under NIGEL ADKINS than any of our other strikers managed under Chris Wilder

The only muppet is you son if you really think ANY of Clarke, Hanson, Lavery or Evans are as good as Adams. There's a reason championship birmingham signed him and not them. Muppet.

Doesn't mean he isn't a better player than every striker we've got bar Billy
