May be a retrograde step. If we sign him assuming he passes the medical. Who knows? Who knows who Wilder is looking at or how much he has to spend? The club haven't said anything as yet it's media talk.

I think after Wilder success with Coutts, Freeman and others this season he deserves to be given a chance.

If Tufty thinks Evans is worth a bit of a gamble ....... that's fine with me. And with a (reputed) cost of £150k plus add-ons upto £500k ........ that should only form a small portion of Tufty's war chest.

If it forms a large proportion of Tufty's transfer budget ..... then THAT'S the thing we should be concerned with !!
