They make me very uneasy because this isnt straightforward espically this next month as weve got play off challenging bristol rovers who haven't lost at home since 22nd November. Then our 2 biggest rivals Scunthorpe & Bolton (we lose them 2 it will get tough). Then next 4 out of 5 games Rochdale Oxford Millwall & Charlton are all challenging for play offs

We got to wait to see how they cope under pressure because the pressure gets to everyone at some point

Initially this post pissed me off as I lumped it in with all the 'who will we play next season / price at the Sty' threads, but then I thought if we had some of yer actual facts, it might calm a few people down.

Bristol City - promoted 14/4/15 (champions 18/4/15)
Wolves - promoted 12/4/14 (champions 21/4/14 with a record points total of 103)
Charlton - promoed 14/4/12 (champions 21/4/12)
Donny promoted & champions 27/4/13 (last day of season)

So looks like mid April at best then.

The problem is BTL that these teams who we have to play from the lower reaches will be fighting like hell to survive and will be just as difficult to beat as any other team in the league. We are the best team in this league and it's up to us to prove it over the last third of the season. I think we will.

1 draw around 14 wins and no losses

I see it this way , we are in front
theres 15 left to play

9 wins would certainly see us up
maybe 8 , 7 with a few draws
we could win 8 draw 3 and still lose 4 and make it

weve got that wiggle room others havent got, heard one or 2 say millwall and charlton could overtake
yes they could if they do better than roy of the rovers ever did

Its always made me think why our fans can see us losing easily and can see other sides going on magnificent runs

when we could be quite average from here on in and still make it now, despite being the best team

Because they are reminders to stop players getting complicant & arrogant. Great example of that is Sutton United & Lincoln. Theyve played well but there in 5th rd because championship teams have thought were leeds brighton ipswich. We can make 10 changes & still beat these 2 teams 100+ places below us & lost

The good thing is Snowman that thats never happened to sheffield united before has it where we look deadset for promotion only for our top goalscorer to become unavailable & we grab defeat from jaws of victory because we cant hit a barn door
