Would be a great signing and a real statement of intent, but I can't see this one happening personally.

would have thought it would only be a loan till end of season if he does come in but could be very handy at this level seems to have been around a long time but still only 28

It's alright bleating on about this guy being "unproven", but surely that's the type of players that turn out to be the next big thing isn't it??
Imagine if everyone thought that way.............every club would have a squad full of "proven" 40 year old wouldn't they? if they didn't have the vision to allow players to prove themselves.
