Never had a problem with people Sat around me at football
Once moved seats to get away from some drunken bellends at headingley once but there was no threat of trouble or owt they were just annoying pricks

Seems to be a lot of chat on this forum about how fellow blades are generally moaning quiet uncouthed dick heads seems to be a popular view

I've sat in the same seat now for about 30 years. We have a little community sitting around us. Same faces appear year in, year out. Occasionally new ones appear and quickly become regulars. There are two seats behind me that sometimes are occupied by the f bombers but they don't appear that often.
We also had Mr Angry who sat a few seats down but he seems to have changed seats this season
It's a happy little place ⚽️

I think i will take your advice mate, i sit in the gangway G down near the front, when i got to me seat on boxing day their was a little lad sat in me seat so his dad said he will have to move now,now i was fine with this no argument at all,bloke seemed ok, i was going to suggest after the game had started if the lad wanted to sit in my seat i was going to stand up against the wall,but i got prodded in the back by a pissed up old trout suggesting that i should move up and let the lad sit in my seat :eek:, my reply was where do you suggest i sit then ? well you can move further down the row, oh thats a good idea and what happens then, when them occupants turn up ? i came to the conclusion she was just another pissed up brainless fuckwit not worth arguing with

Someone else mentioned them on here a while back and "the fat family" was what a few people called them, I'm not being fattiest. That's their job ( Jimmy Carr )

Yes I've had words ,, it quietened them down for a couple of games , but then it starts again. I don't need to grow a pair either. I was only asking for advice on where not to move to .

Seen this before. Not aimed at me but towards my old man. My old man was referred to on here as scum and so on. I can't remember who posted what exactly but there were a few who had an opinion despite knowing fuck all. Old man had an opinion at the game and someone didn't like it so this other chap got shirty and started having a pop at my old man. To cut a long story short my old man was constantly insulted openly and loudly throughout the 2nd half by some jumped up fuckwit and my old man lost it and throttled him. He's quite a quiet chap my old man and it was well out of character but I suppose how much could you take before seeing red? I think a couple on here only saw the after events rather than the build up that lead up to my old man throttling this kid. This was before I had an account on here. In fact I nearly created an account on here just to put a few people straight but decided not to in the end because it boiled my piss.

Oh dear sorry my op upset you so much. Maybe I shouldn't have put a name to them . I don't need to grow a pair I've confronted them a few times, they're alright for a few games then it all starts again . My main reason for moving is that on occasions we've got spare tickets the first question freinds or family ask is do you still sit near them when I say yes they usually ask if they can have the tickets but sit somewhere else, oh I've just realised it might be me they don't want to sit next to.
 
It's just part and parcel of the match day experience. With so many different types of folk all congregated together you are always going to come across people you don't like - there are gobshites, potty mouths, opinionated know it alls who know fuck all, heavy vapers blowing clouds all over you, smelly gits who don't wash etc etc.

I confess to being a slackbladder - for me part of match day is having a few ales before and even though my very first stop through the turnstiles is the pisser, I usually have to go again once halfway through the 1st half and then again at HT - can usually manage the 2nd half without!

At the end of the day, you either put up with it for a couple of hours or just move seats.
 
After a very unpleasant scenario where I was threatened.
Not at BDTBL I may add.
I went home, quite shaken up and almost tearful.
Norah, upon seeing my distress, easily got the full story out of me.
Comforted me and held me until I fell asleep.
The event of that evening was soon forgotten, until one day I was
in the City Centre. The wife of the individual who had ''attacked'' me that
night, approached me with a sad look and tears in her eyes.

She then proceeded to tell me that her husband had fallen ill and was now
close to death. She was returning from the local infirmary to her home, on what was to be
her final visit to him, alive.

His deterioration had been rapid, his body was ravaged by a disease which hadn't been
picked upon by the medical profession until it was too late to act. It wasn't evident on his
medical records, it was as though it had been put there.

I returned back to my home that evening, in shock....

I told Norah the whole story of that afternoon, she just smiled.
Her last words on this subject....

''No one threatens my man, no one... This is what happens to those who do....''

We have never spoken since of such....
