After a few years sitting on the kop (season tickets) . The total and utter scum we sit near have finally beaten me, I am now looking to move seats next season. Any recommendations on where not to sit, don't want to move and end up near someone else who's just as bad. Although I think that is highly unlikely.

Your choice is between the South Stand and the Upper Westfield. I've taken to using the latter, fantastic view and useable bogs.

Edited to add tou say we,therefore the family stand and streetwise corner become options if you have a kid with you.

Without it turning into an attack and argument regarding fellow Blades, care to expand on what is making you take this decision?

Why not try and move seats now ?

"total and utter scum" ! Blimey. Strong words, are they young'uns, older ? What are they doing, saying ?

I had a season ticket in the South Stand during our "year in the sun " Never again

a few years ago, I decided to move and spent the 2nd half of the season moving around the ground to find a decent spot.

You'll get a decent idea of what folk around you are like.

don't necessarily have to move off the kop. There are two or three decent places I could have picked on there

Can you get season tickets for the Westfield upper. I enquired about there 3 years ago and they said they didn't do season tickets for that stand.

We sit with friends and they only got tickets there because we were there so don't want to leave them . They are not renewing next season due to work commitments

We're having this problem at the moment. Last season we had a whiny old prick behind us who made watching United even more painful than it already was.

So we moved this season and now have a fat old heart-attack candidate of a twat who talks like a dingle and is constantly gobbing off, even at 4-0 up. The urge to empty my Bovril over his head is getting very hard to contain.
So it looks like we're moving again next season.

So avoid Kop gangway E rows LL and M near the supporting pillar.

No season tickets available in the Westfield corner, think it's to do with the fact they close it occasionally.

My word, it's a football match where all sections of society congregate. It's hardly going to be a bunch of hooray henrys that go to the theatre.

For years on here we've had the fans being blamed for our 6 years in the wilderness, and now fans referring to fellow Blades as 'scum'

The Lane is still like a library with no atmosphere until we score and those that seem to be showing any passion are rounded on by the holier than thou brigade.

We need a singing section on the kop or standing brought back and perhaps all those who dislike other people could all sit together it could be arranged on here like a car share but a seat swap?

Had someone similar sat behind me for the past five years, it was as though he was sat on my shoulder whispering into my ear , telling me how bad we were when I already knew it but he just loved rubbing it in. Had such a nasaly voice that got on your nerves, thank God he stopped coming thus year and looks like he's lost his seat.

Sadly not. I pay £22 and my youngest £6 which I don't think is too bad.

Hated my experience in general on the kop boxing day. Feels like an overcrowded aeroplane with less legroom.

The Fat Family are scum though.

Come on, let's have your scum stories...
Men all revolve around ....

Coming in late
Leaving early
Standing at top of steps to watch last few minutes blocking my view
Stewards who do feck all about one above
Secret farting (totally unacceptable and culprit needs medical attention)
Not knowing wtf phase 5 is

Coming in late because they've had several pints, then forever disturbing the row as they continually need a piss during the game

No but if you plan it right having a membership card is almost as good.

The 4 of us didn't renew ST's after last season's fiasco year and got membership cards. We get our tickets one month at a time for the Westfield corner and we sit in the same seats every game. We often get discounts for buying multi games plus the membership which suits some of us who can't always get to midweek games, so overall we're not much worse off financially. We've noticed a few who seem to do the same as us but in the main, it's an ever changing area so you won't get stuck with any idiots for more than one game.

So far apart from a couple off piss heads coming in late and then wanting to stand it's been fine and the views great, especially good if you bring younger kids.
