The Joe Bunney rumour from yesterdays paper #sufc #twitterblades

I can see why we'd be interested in a player like that. 23 years old, 6"2 and would probably be earmarked for LWB, but can obviously play up front too.

Be funny if we sign a converted striker from Rochdale to play LWB two years after we signed a converted left back from Rochdale to play up front.

If this deal is a goer then an exchange involving Chris Hussey is very likely.

Beware. Keith Hill has dropped Joe Bunney more than once, and threatened him with the sack, because of his, shall we say, immature behaviour. This looks like one of those occasions when a bargepole is required.

Rochdale's fans believe that manager Hill gets a cut of every transfer fee he brings in, which might well have played a part in this "story" getting into the papers. If Bunney goes, he gets rid of someone he doesn't like and makes a few bob for himself at the same time.

Wow that is an unfortunate surname to have when you are blessed with front teeth like that
Who cares what he looks like if he helped us get promoted he would be my pinupon the bedroom wall

He was nominated as Player of the Month in November. Scored a goal against Wilder's Northampton here:

After a mixed start, he seems to be rated highly by Rochdale's fans now. Apparantly did well last season (before being converted), often having a good impact and scoring goals from the bench.

Apparently Wilder was at the Rochdale v Chesterfield game in the shitpot trophy this week.

Bunney and Evans are the most likely two he will have been watching.

I think we know who he was watching TBF.

Well, there must be some good players at Rochdale as they always seem to do well, and it looks like he's one of them.

9 assists so far, if that's right, is incredible.

A move to us would be his best bet IMO.

It's no coincidence that Keith Hill's converted another player into a position he's excelling in. He's a very good manager who improves a lot of the players he works with. One of these seasons he's going to get them promoted provided he stays.
