ok judge judy!!![]()
The traces of Coke was mentioned in the original trial and the CCTV footage showed her bringing her pizza into the hotel (i think)
The 'new' evidence should not be on a forum and we will have to wait for the new trial. Whilst he is now innocent until proven guilty, I find it difficult to believe that the trial will be 'fair' too either party as it is surely going to be difficult to find a jury who doesn't already have a pre-conceived impression of what happened( due to media exposure) and who was to blame
Sorry I can't find the Ched Evans forum....hate to start all this up again but heard from someone inside Chesterfield FC that he will be joining us in January....don't shoot the messenger.
The clue is in the post....
I just can't wait to hear the legal opinions of our new BladesMad chums come October.

I've spoken to the Chesterfield negotiator of his contract. No way will he come back to United whilst KM is at our club ! Feels unbelievably let down by him not honouring his promise.
At £2k pw its a no lose situation for CTFC.
Acquittal and they'll make a fortune when they sell him. The one year contract extension covers them.
If that is correct then yet another fuck up by KM. How much longer do we have to endure the man and his continual incompetent behaviour. Time he sold up and let someone who cares about football take the reigns.

Does he feel as let down by the other clubs that apparently backed out of signing him I wonder?
I would think his family and friends (and girl friend) feel more let down by his actions, than he feels about SUFC. In fact all us SUFC fans should feel he let us down as well.
All about opinions Graps isn't it mate (mine is broadly the same as yours by the look of it). The club should have either shit or got off the pot, stating an intention then going back on it because a few sponsors got the kite on is a bit spineless.
I think given the circumstances, Ched is an extraordinarily lucky man in many ways. If I'd gone with another lass, consent or not, Ms Crab would be detaching me from my Gentlemans Vegetables and nailing them to the nearest tree. Furthermore, if someone had done what he did to my daughter (again consent or not) I wouldn't be paying his legal bills, I'd hunt him down and gut him like a Fish.
True mate

The plan was always to bring him back, and then the Jean Hatchet backlash started and the club bottled it. Not saying bringing him back was the right course of action.
6 pages in - has anyone stopped to think this could be someone on a wind up?
Obviously it would never have been "peachy" to start with - .Me neither Graps. If I had been in Mcabes position, I'd have gone nowhere near the deal in the first place, what subsequently happened made us out to look pretty stupid. There was ALWAYS going to be a backlash, I think Oldham got similar pelters when they tried to sign him. It's all a mess, a shabbily handled mess. Anyone involved in the deal who thought it'd all be peachy needs to have a look at themselves.

but with a bit of planning and more courage from us, he could have trained for a month or 2 until the hype died down.
The media would have lost interest and the internet voters would have moved on.
