We defy you! Do your worst!
IF there's no more in the next ten minutes, at least we'll have some extra to spend in the January sales.
Won't we?

Dominic and Jordan are cousins. I found out last year!Slew mark 2
I am not fussed at all about the player himself going but I can't say it's a good deal as we are unlikely to see any of the money be reinvested in the team.
If it's consolation to those who aren't happy with the fee, we wouldn't have seen it effect the playing side of things even if we had sold him for £5m. I think this window has shown that we have no intention on spending "big" on anyone. We seem to be mirroring a club like Crewe who sell their best players to simply keep going. In all honesty it's what we have always done
That first one reminded me of one I saw a kid called James Wilson score this weekend. What's he up to now?
Or were you pointing out the row Z effort at the end?
But seriously, other than him being tall ( ish), there's no deep substantive evidence that we've lost significant aerial prowess here, is there?
Apart from him leaping well and having good heading technique? No.
Difficult to say how good he'll be, but that's not the main thing. If developed physically he could have provided us with an aerial threat that only Clarke can match. Maybe we'll cope well without that though, we'll see.
I knew it should have been Coutts modelling the shirt on that massive cardboard cut out outside BL.
He's tall. That's where it ends, isn't it?
Has he scored with his head on loan elsewhere? I'd like to say that was one of his strong points when he played for us, but in this case there's no thought to waste. He hasn't demonstrated any strong points in this time.
In my lifetime of supporting us, DCL's rise to super stardom over the next 48 hours ( I'm not accusing you of this) will be both the most hilarious and bemusing.

How many times have you actually seen him play?
Not very many, because several managers have deemed him sub standard for our struggling third division team.
My "wild assertions" are admittedly extrapolated from the few, but entirely awful performances he's made for us, on top of the reality (not the warm words) that numerous managers haven't fancied him.Oh, so your making wild assertions. Clough and Adkins actually spoke very highly of him and he did very well at Northampton. There's not many strikers in the first team playing every week at his age are there? He'll no doubt be straight out on loan.
I'm totally behind the suggestion that it's what we blow it on that has been the more realistic, and biggest problem. There's some (only some) evidence that this lesson has been learned, but also at a time when the budget is being cut. That makes it hard to evaluate.I've seen him play through all the senior academy levels and rate him our best prospect since Walker and Naughton. Since turning striker a couple of years ago his performances have been precocious. He needs to learn the position more, but he was bigger, stronger and quicker than top academy defenders while still new to the position and could obviously mix it in L2 at 18. He hasn't shown his best for United, particularly at the lane, where he's looked extremely nervous, but I thought he was excellent at Grimsby and got a fantastic goal in pre season.
For me, selling DCL isn't even the crux of the problems: I long ago accepted that any player can be sold and that it's the recruitment strategy that's important. Sufc are repeating all the same mistakes with reinvesting fees in high waged championship players, instead of picking up well scouted lesser known gems (on permanent deals) and/or premier league youngsters(on loan) - ala Coventry last season . Were effectively burning our best academy prospect, to get a couple of loan signings. Nobody can guarantee we'll have another one to sell next season, when the loanees have gone back. Even if we overcome our bad start and get promoted there's no foundations to build upon. What's the plan?
