IF we spend the money. I doubt anyone on here would argue that I wasnt a clapper but we haven't got the CB and CM we are crying out for and now we need a RB. Unless of course we plug the gaps with players most deemed not good enough last season. Or Basham who's average at best wherever he plays.

If you didn't know the club or who Brayford was you would be saying that is another position to strengthen. You could say that about a few and old players but there is lots of work to be done and Brayford is at least 2 players wages at this level. No brainer for me

I'll be absolutely amazed if we get the 5 players (probably 6 now) that Wilder wanted before the window closes. We will probably buy a decent on paper midfielder, an unproven forward and maybe go into the free transfer marker for a defender. Grandison for instance

I don't know how we've done it but we are going to end up going into a league game tomorrow with Kieron Freeman, Paul Coutts and Kieron Wallace as probable starters. If that doesn't suggest to people the club haven't got a clue what they are doing then I don't know what will

Obviously a good relationship and I'd guess Clough was a big influence on his early formative years.
