How so?

If I have a kid with my mum is it my sibling or my offspring?
To be siblings with another person, both parents need to be the same.

If your sibling has the same parents as you, they can't be your parent also can they.

It's a real shame that you won't be joining us back in the second tier. But I believe you've got this latest appointment right in Chris Wilder. And your first additions to your squad for next season are promising, on paper. The lad Hussey was Bury's standout player the day we beat them 3-0. Wonderful set pieces and likes to bomb on. Suspect defensively, but most modern full backs are. And Duffy was quite tricky in both games against us despite us getting two clean sheets. He didn't cut the mustard in the second tier, but he's certainly a top player in the third division as last season proved. You've finally got shut of the dross, including Barnsley rejects JCR and JayMac. They were spent five and six years ago when we had them, chuff knows how they've lasted so long with you. I see you've retained Matty Done though. He's a trier, bless him. Another one we released. Top talent at that level on his day, if played where he can impact games. To be fair, we saw him in the second tier where he struggled in the main.

I was impressed with Che Adams last season, certainly looks one for the future if developed accordingly and the keeper, Long is it? He's played a lot of games whilst young. Fat Billy is always good for a goal especially from the penalty spot. After that? Can't say I'm clued up enough on your team. But it's a world away from ten years ago isn't it? Still can't get my head around the fact you're still down there. When we waved you off in 2011 at your place, no way did I envisage you still being there now. We've been down and back up and won two trophies in that time. Even Wednesday are 'on their way back', although not as quickly as they'd probably thought a few weeks back. They obviously found the right investment eventually whereas United clearly didn't. I remember hearing statements a couple of years ago out of Bramall Lane talking about game changing investment, 'think Liverpool' or summat. I know you bought him with that beard who doesn't play much for quite a hefty fee for an established third division club, but other than that, nothing seems to have improved at the Lane. It's strange, looking in from afar as a neutral. Even more so when little old Barnsley give teams a 17 point head start but still get promoted with a team of freebies, kids and loanees.

I would imagine it'll be a stronger third division next time around, with MK Dons, Charlton, Bolton, Oxford and Bristol Rovers joining you. All have a bit of coin for the level, decent crowds etc. No doubt you will be bookies favourite for the title again. Do Blades player crumble under the weight of that pressure? Can they not handle playing in front of such huge crowds? You've had the best squad on paper, for most of the years down there. Is it six years now, five? I've lost count. [insert dingle related joke]

I suppose it all comes down to pure bad luck.

And so that's why I posted this thread. Hence the title. Good luck next season.

If you're finally promoted, you can thank me at the appropriate moment.

Stay over on Porktalk with your sisters mate. You can slag us off to your hearts content over there whilst at the sme time bigging up your pals. You know that's the only reason they entertain you and you get half civil reply's.

Just out of interest who's the closest Barnsley have to a rival? Always wondered what it must be like to not really have one. Is it Rotherham or Doncaster? I suppose it must be whoever's closest to you in the league.

Must grate though not being the best supported club in your own town. That's why I don't get why you suck up to the pigs so much. Seeing so many of them traipse off down the road to the Swill every other week. Must piss you off.

One of the good things about being a Blade is not having that problem, Our rivals support mainly comes from outlying areas like yours, Trouble is even though so many don't come from Sheffield, they seem all the more gobby for it. Witness that nutter Mick from Rawmarsh for example. Bit like yourself in fact, must be something in the genes I suppose.

Haha a dingle on the wind up who really cares about barnsley and there fetish thing they have going off with us and pigs cause it sure ain't a 2 way thing, let em have there season in the big league and we will pass em back to where at the very least we should be and them being back where they should be and when that happens we still won't give barnsley a passing thought as there nobody's a little club that the deluded dingles actually think there summat, next season big derbies for em with rotherham a club similar in size saying that I'm sure rotherham would have taken more to wembley that that turnout they did

I was born in Barnsley and I've lived in Barnsley all my life.

Sorry to shatter any illusions, but...

1. The majority of people that live in Barnsley support Barnsley.

2. Barnsley fans dislike both us and Wednesday in equal measure but on the whole don't really give a shit about either of us.

3. There are very few people in Barnsley that support Wednesday and nobody sucks up to them.

Next you'll be telling us they are not inbred six fingered dingles.

Ha ha ha ha Wednesday fans are pigs and people from Barnsley have six fingers HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Hilarious.

If you think that's funny then you're a fucking idiot.

Hey, Dingles. Go Swivel on that!
