Does anyone know if the free tickets for season ticket holders means simply activating the card mebbes over the phone or do you have to go down and actually get a ticket?
Is there any reason why all season ticket cards couldn't be automatically activated so we can just turn up on the night if we want to go, saving a lot of time and energy alround?

True Blades Will Be At The Lane.....

I'll be there mate. I wouldn't want to miss a Blades team playing proper football.

The crowd will be lower than anticipated though: The 'We  Hoofing' Brigade have organised a [horse]shoes-off protest rally in the car park with Quickfix Micky as guest speaker.

I assume they want to have a rough idea of how many people will show up so they know how much of the ground to open and how many stewards to have, and so on.

A Barnsley fan called Football Heaven last night to bemoan the lack of opportunities for their young players under Robins. Seemed to know his stuff and had been a youth team watcher for many years, he talked about watching David Hirst and Carl Tiler play for them.

He said he thought that the Barnsley academy team had done really well this year. He said the only time they’d been outclassed was against us and that our academy were outstanding and that he wouldn’t be at all surprised if we won the FA Youth Cup.

The next question being, will they charge a fee for the service? I can't see it available online...

There will always be conflict between a manager (who could be sacked at any time), and an academy which looks long term. I think if we're serious about using our academy we need a football director to ensure they work together. Someone who's in charge of both Pembo and Adams to enforce planning beyond the short term. Something we've lacked for years...

I agree, although the main thing we've 'lacked for years' is any commitment to playing football. Any such Director would have to begin by sacking Quickfix Micky, Dinosaur Dave and the 'best attacking coach in the business'.

Chalk and Cheese; Oil and Water.

You see, they  Hoofing!

Is it your ambition to get that little heart in to every post you can?

I think his new ambition to become more boring than Micalijo which is a shame as I've always thought he was a good poster (despite agreeing with most of what he says!)

You think Micalijo is a good poster??

Two major bollocks dropped in such a short post - agreeing instead of disagreeing and leaving myself open to accusations of liking Micalijo.

COOPS OUT

If you want tickets for this game 2nd leg, you have to go and get a printed ticket from the ticket office. They don't add it to your season ticket like a cup game. They are free though and they are only opening the south stand.

As per the current Weeds United manager?

Sheffield United Youth Team 1985

Centre Half - Kenny Geelan

He was one of Middlewood u13s coaches last season. My lad played in the same division for AFC Dronfield. AFC got promoted to div B and I hear that Kenny's son has moved to a club in the B division for the coming season

Not sure if Faulkner was too old. I think Steve Ludlam was in that side and am not sure about Steve Conroy. We signed David Bradford from Blackburn and he was 21 when we signed him. I will try to find out more about that side
faulkner wasnt too old he was in the team for that match. he was recently invited bk to the ground for the youth team match against man utd but didnt attend, i no all this as he is my father!!!!
