To add to this does anyone know if it will be on sky if I can't get to the game?

The dates haven't yet been announced, they are usually towards the end of april/first weekend in may though.

It's two legged, so there will be one at the lane and one at either Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford.

Think it is usually covered by the TV cameras.

It's a two leg affair, home and away. Chelsea and Man U play today in their first leg semi-final with the 2nd leg at OT on the 20th. I've heard that dates for the final will be sorted out when the other finalist is known and I assume there'll be a draw to see who gets home and away in each leg.

chelsea won the first leg 3-2. Hope Man U win overall to be honest, might be able to take a few to the away leg as well in that case!

Great achievement even if we don't win it. Will be good for youngsters to get a game in front of a good crowd at the lane

I have a sneaky feeling the final won't be free to ST holders, I can see someone trying to cash in with tickets at about £5.

It's only fair, we can't have all the glory hunters jumping on board for free when we've had to pay a few quid previously :D (I am joking, before anyone starts :p)

They should make it free for everyone after the crap we've had to endure this season. I personally wouldn't mind paying a few quid as I have done for the Youth Cup games all season, but an increase from £3 and £1 for concessions would be taking the piss.

The first leg is at the lane, so we'll have to secure the trophy at Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge.

Aye, heard that last night. The home leg is likely to be first week in May and the 2nd leg the week after, still negotiating on dates.

We find out tonight who we'll play.

The Blades will know their FA Youth Cup final opponents within the next 24 hours, as Chelsea face Manchester United in the second-leg of their semi-final on Wednesday night.

The Blues head to Old Trafford with a slender 3-2 advantage from the first meeting at Stamford Bridge earlier this month, but the tie is far from over given that Red Devils battled back from 2-0 down in the capital.

Chelsea will be able to call on the services of Josh McEachran who has featured in the Premiership this season, along with captain Daniel Pappoe who is available after a ban. Schoolboy Nathaniel Chalobah, who scored two goals in the first-leg, is likely to continue at centre-back.

For the Lancastrians, England U18s duo Ravel Morrison and Tyler Blackett are in contention after suspensions.

Contrary to some reports no dates have been pencilled in for the final regardless of the opposition, although the Blades will definitely play at Bramall Lane in the first-leg.

Apparently the games will be the 2nd and 3rd weeks in May (to be confirmed). This will obviously depend on Man U or Chelsea's fixtures and ours etc.

Personally I hope that Chelsea win (cue the Ollie is a Chelsea fan stuff). As a Blade living in London it would be much easier for me. I'd like to atten both legs (though a mid week tie at Bramall Lane might be difficult) but a tie in London would be perfect. I think Chelsea (last years winners) are the better team (though we'll see tonight) and it would be nice for our lads to stuff them.

Taking a step back it is a fantastic achievement. To be playing Man U or Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup final is incredible. It's a silver lining on the season and Pemberton and the team deserve a lot of credit. It's something we can focus on (or to divert our attention) after the first team has let us down so miserably.

What Ollie said. If it's at Stamford Bridge, I'll definitely head along.

Looking like Man Utd at the minute.

Half time at Old Trafford in the Youth Cup semi, and it's Manchester United 2 Chelsea 0. United lead 4-3 on aggregate #CFC

it's not just pembo and the squad that deserve the credit. Some of these kids will have been at the club since they were 8 or 9 and huge credit has to go to united's academy staff... Not Pemberton but the coaches that coach there a couple of times a week to and give up their Saturdays and / or Sundays to give high quality coaching to kids at all the age groups. They're definitely not in it for the money!!

Well, Old Trafford it is then.

In the Youth Cup semi, it's finished Manchester United 4 Chelsea 0, so the Blues were beaten 6-3 on aggregate.

I'll be there. Come on Blades, let's turn out in numbers.

Me too. Been twice before and seen us lose to Newcastle and Arsenal in semis. Third time lucky. Come on boys...

Pretty comprehensive victory. I was hoping for Chelsea for logistical reasons, but it should be a good final. It will be difficult for me to make both, or even either, of the legs depending on work, dates etc.

They were pencilled in on the FA site for a Friday and a Wednesday but I'd expect some confirmation before the weekend.

Frikin Awesome dudeeeeeees! As our mate strafford would say! I'll be gutted if its all midweek, Need it to be a Saturday

Big report in today's paper, 9000 there. And what was the report on our semi? Zilch.
