And he spent 72 of it on a bottle of rum 😉
Bert has taken him out to dine and drink a few times as gratitude for excellent service.

The driver then bought the rum before he got the tip, presumably it's a lot cheaper in India.

Some of my favourite people on planet Indian's, my mate Maddi is like a big toddler who loves to get drunk. Rides an electric bike with flip flops on reyt funny. The drink will be a lot cheaper there apparently a key of weed is about 50000 rupees so like 350 400 pound! Mental how it jumps up over here when we grow loads of it and no one's smoking that dead Indian weed. Never heard of dog in Kerala, proper fluffy shite they have. Dunno what am talking bout now

I'll repeat it again 30 precent of the Peak District is within Sheffield city boundaries.
So what? If I was in charge of the peak park, I'd be wanting to redraw the boundaries to cut the trailer park loose.

Has Bert tasted it yet? It might not be fully pukka...

It’s sports tourism which is growing not just football.
Every time I visit the USA I like to go to a baseball game (easy to understand even if you don’t get the finer points). The experience is great. My son’s off to Canada soon and he’s booked a seat to see at an ice hockey game for the same reason.
Absolutely.

No longer are they even bothering to pretend their stadium is a good viewing experience.

Sold their soul for a chance of success

What a warning to the rest of us.

Both these videos popped up on my X feed today. Check out the first one, and how familiar does that feel in terms of style of ground, intimacy, togetherness.

Then the second one. Anyone who has been to their new stadium as an away fan and ended up in that top tier will know you are as far from the nearest goal as you are from the BL end goal when sat in the kop at BDTBL. Not an exaggeration, btw, it’s appalling!

I remember loads of West Ham fans coming at me on twitter after I said it was the worst away end I'd ever been in.

I'm glad I made it to Upton Park. That was a real football stadium. I went to the new ground to see athletics during the Olympics and that was very good. Saw us there a year or two ago and it wasn't a patch on the old ground for atmosphere.

I did actually want them to beat Forest last night.

I'd rather Forest go down than West Ham. Be nice if both could go down, along with Leeds
well thats not happening wolves and burnley are already down i think west ham will go with those 2 seems a toxic atmosphere round that club just now and couldnt be happening to a better club

What’s the warning exactly? If Sheffield hosts the Olympics and we’re offered the stadium we should turn it down?

Their situation is unique and will never be repeated. If London had the sense to build the Olympic stadium in a way that it could be easily converted for football (as Manchester did), then West Ham wouldn’t be in this situation.

Anyway, fuck’em! They’ve made their bed, they can lie in it!

I quite like West Ham. All the Tevez nonsense aside, they’ve got a great history without being an elite club. West Ham fans I know are proper football fans. They probably have a higher opinion of their own club than it deserves, but don’t we all?
No we generally have a lower opinion of our club than we deserve.
