Interesting to see him play as an 8 tonight. Two assists, may have been a third when his corner saw Seriki's header hit the post. Marsh also hit the post from a free kick. Some clever play and a few sliding tackles as well.

He's got bags of ability. Keen to see more of him.

Maybe just lacks a little physically, but has the brain and the feet.
I like him as a player.

Quick thinking and perfect weight of pass for Brooks' goal.

Should get a better idea of his progression when we play Rotherham and Burton.

Marsh did pretty well in pre-season last year but was still a step behind Peck in his development, this season is probably now or never for him to make a proper breakthrough. Just needs the physicality to compete in a box to box role as he could be a real asset there, especially if he can get some goals as he's a great natural finisher.
