Adkins has brought 5 players in all of whom are proving to be poor signings. He has to take responsibility for this. He's been at the club long enough now and I cannot think of one positive he's brought to us. Maybe there's a good reason he was sacked from his last two jobs?

Sharp has not been a poor signing in anyway shape or form. He is one of the top scorers in the league, and he is quite often the only one out there that looks like they care.

I don't think it's being more adult trying to make out that the people who are understandably furious with the club are somehow "throwing the toys out of the pram". That's not a dig at you in any way but I don't think looking for positives or believing everything will turn out ok makes you anymore adult. People invest a lot of time and money in this club and it's naturally going to cause anger when the club are in the state they are in. I think it's patronizing from people (again not you) to suggest that they are somehow being more adult by trying to stick up for the club when the club are performing in such an appalling manner

Most fans have known the defence wasn't going to be strong enough since the day Maguire was sold, those that didn't have got up to speed on the problem over the last 18 months. It is f****ing glaring, yet Adkins hasn't seen fit to bring in a dominant centre half. We don't need bean poles like Edgar or Basham we want a man mountain that wins everything and leads from the front. Two of 'um would be even better. We don't need to reinvent the wheel to get out of this division, it's not rocket science. just get a few cloggers in to protect the better players.

If Adkins doesn't get it sorted soon he'll be getting sacked sooner rather than later.

But yes, we were truly awful apart from first five minutes when Crewe looked like rabbits in the headlights and Done missed a good chance.
From that point on we made heavy weather of what should have been a routine win. The longer we laboured, the more apparent it became that Crewe would snatch one.
The equaliser was never ever going to come and a resigned air descended on those around us.
It was only when the players sheepishly came over to acknowledge the fans at the end that a crescendo of abuse and boos exploded from justifiably angry Blades.
I'm not one for that sort of stuff but today, they thoroughly deserved it.
Truly truly awful, the lot of em.
