I don't think playing for Scotland in some God foresaken footballing backwater should be held up as any barometer for how he will play for us. As an eternal optimist ( strange for a lifelong blade) I think he will improve and his time will come. At the moment the team is picking itself, but as injuries, suspensions and winter mount up an opportunity will present itself. In the words of Norman Stanley Fletcher, "Bide your time, keep your nose clean and don't let the bastards grind you down."I thought he looked really lethargic when he came on for Scotland yesterday. Plus he tended to drift around languidly rather than closing down and pressing when out of possession - maybe following orders?
But he also showed a couple of nice touches, including a back heel in the box right at the death, which on another day could have led to a tap in goal. If he ups his physicality and workmate, he could still work out well for us, but I do worry that he doesn't have the attitude to succeed under Wilder.
We shall see.
Almost there than Rick. Just the basics to improve on ?Just needs to improve his body, his ability control it, his brain and his football skills.
Then we might be onto a winner.
If not, we should be able to get at least £10m back due to his Championship scoring record. Wait till Leeds fancy spending.
No he won't!He will come good and so will Robinson, those saying otherwise have just moved on from hating Lundstram.![]()
How do you know that ?No he won't!
Robinson has already shown his potential and I never hated Lundstram!![]()
He doesn’t, blokes a clownHow do you know that ?
If he started to play football would be an even greater start! If he tidied his beard and pulled his socks up it’d be a start. it would at least get the trampists amongst us off his back.
It’s all very laudable getting behind him, cos he’s our top signing and we all want him to succeed but

If ever a player didn't deserve a song it's McBurnie. I cringe when I hear it.
We even have the likes of Basham and Fleck who barely have one!
Watching the game it was clear they needed someone to come on and provide more energy and spark. Sadly he didn't. I think most defenders would have been happy playing against him in high heelsNot just you - according to the BBC ratings, McBeardie scored lowest rating (as voted by the public, so this could be a conspiracy) out of all 14 Scotland players to feature in the Cyprus match: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50445586

The amount paid for McBurnie isn't a lot for most PL teams, but it is for SUFC!He has done, turned up for the Arsenal game with a sensible haircut and a tidy beard.
Think people need to realise we're in the Premier League now, a £18.5m striker is expected to be an 8-10 goals striker at best.
It's really not a lot of money, that doesn't fit with a lot of our world views but it's the truth in the top tier.
Some teams have to take the hit on £50m players.
