Another weekend fucked by the result but eased by the Wendy result.

What line up do we want to start against Brentford.

Surely we've got to go for the jugular let's get at them early are any of them not going to up for this match?
Fuck 442 let's go 433 with Forte Kitson and Poleon up front obviously Mcfazdene came on and done well keep him and no room for tossers like Flynn cause its going to be a battle
For once this season I ask Wilson to show courage and not bottle it.

Agreed. Think that its time for Wilson and his management team to do some hard thinking and select a more attacking side for the Brentford game. Should consider playing Mcdonald or Robson in central midfield with the other on the bench. Personally would start McDonald on the bench against Brentford. Would go with pace out wide from McFadzean/Murphy/Poleon (with Flynn) and play Forte up front with Kitson. Also, would not waste a space on the bench for Porter/Cresswell who don't have a goal in them. Ironside must be a better option.

The bottom line is that Wilson and his team have 9 games to get us out of a very ordinary division. This is undoubtedly the poorest Blades side for many years but the squad is still better than most in this division. Should we fail to achieve our objective then management changes are inevitable. Can't think of a better reason for Wilson to get it right this week.

My concern now is getting turned over on Satdi by Brentford (we are bound to as it is on the telly) whilst McDonald and McMahon both pick up yellow cards and miss the next two games - then we will be down to 6 games to turn it around when they come back.

Yesterday was an opportunity to put a bit of daylight between us and the pack, yet again SUFC have let the fans down and fucked up again. Not one good team in the promotion race even the leaders Doncaster couldn't take advantage against the divisions whipping boys Pompey, god help us if we can't be better than the shower of shit around us and god help us if by some miracle we do win a place in the Championship, we really are a shit team.

No! But there up there. The Haslam and Peters era was the lowest point for me. I remember being utterly dejected at the relegations but that was over thirty years ago I've since learnt to live with the disappointments. But this present side is, to say the least, poor, often out played in a poor division, devoid of any real quality (with a few exceptions) and all too often lacking in commitment and enthusiasm. Oh and top it all Porters back and will be more than likely be on the bench. God help us.

If we had a striker with any kind of pace we'd be dangerous. Regrettably, we dont! Instead, we have Forte on loan.
The manager and his coaching staff also appear to be totally unable to give the team ideas on how to break down teams at home.
This, unfortunately, is what will cost us promotion this year.

I would suggest Ironside instead of Forte, at least he can hit a barn door with a banjo and he holds the ball up. His effort cannot be faulted, unlike one or two others mentioned on here.
