hull were shite, so what's that say about our performance. Couldn't string 2 passes together, constantly gave it away after we had won it back. Looked light weight up front. Leon Clarkes kit at end looked like it had just come from shop. Don't want to rant too much but I've seen this coming for last 6 weeks, it's as though some just stopped putting effort in. How the Feck can one player missing upset a teams performance so much.

We looked very shaker against QPR in the last 25 mins and I was thinking do we have the capability to push the ah offs really. Tonight says no chance.

Still were on 52 so won’t be a nervy end to the season. I’d be very concerned if I was Hull.

Neither team did anything remotely good and Adkins calls it a good performance !!

I personally thought it was Stearman’s poorest game since he returned to the team, thought he can’t be singled out as most were really poor.

For all the focus on Duffy not starting (and ignoring the fact we weren’t much better when he came on), I think I lost count of the number of times be took heavy touches, hit it far to far forward when running up the pitch, and made basic errors on the ball. Classic example 2nd half where Fleck went to play it on the ground across to Evans and instead directed it to him at waist height, meaning Evans then had to work hard to keep hold of it (which he in that instance didn’t). It was the same all over the pitch when we actually tried to play any football.

One of the reasons I was concerned by the last 20 minutes of hoofball on Tuesday is that it can set poor standards. It felt like we’d come onto the pitch this evening to give us an extended dose of that.

No, but out of the remaining games that was, on paper one of the easier ones. Save for awful decision making by Hull, it could've been 3 and they are not even a reasonable side.

Again, as in the 2nd half against QPR, when we lose our shape, we lose it good & proper, it's if we're playing with 10 men. The defence, midfield & attack were operating as three separate units tonight.

Whatever malady has befallen us needs to be shifted quickly otherwise Fulham and Brentford will make very short work of us. Whether it's mental & physical tiredness or something else, that was both unacceptable as a performance & deeply worrying.

Granted, Hull deserved the win despite being terrible themselves. However that wasn’t your point. You said the season is now over. I don’t understand how you get that from one poor performance.

That midfield performance was the most awful shit show in a long time. Lundstram coming on for Evans was like swapping a shit sandwich for dog shit on toast...
