Worst kit?

2nd best for me. This one is my favourite

The purple and yellow one was the first kit I was bought as a youth so I have very fond memories of it.

It should have been an away shirt. It was decent enough anywhere else, just not a Sheffield United kit.

And it was a season late for the anniversary too!
Yeah, I’ve got one without sponsor and I like it but it shouldn’t have been the home shirt and it’s now synonymous with our nightmare season. And at times I can see people looking at it thinking ‘what the fuck club is that?’ as it doesn’t have the recognisable badge.

I don't think that many people like last season's kit (plain white back), despite the fantastic season. The previous two (very similar kits) were a lot nicer/more popular.

I liked it and it’s the only shirt I’ve bought as an adult. Unfortunately it was marred by the worst season of my life. I’m convinced that if it had been a year later it would be a classic

I think the fact that it was supposed to mark our 125 year anniversary by paying homage to our first ever home shirt went over a lot of people’s heads. A lot seemed to think we were permanently reverting to white shirts with red pin stripes.

Aesthetically it was a nice shirt, badge was done well and it in these days of being forced to change kits every season there is bound to be the odd radical departure from the norm.

I liked it, and I don’t get how it’s not a Sheffield United kit, it was because of our original kit. Our away kit now is White and the red pin stripe linked it more to our colours than the current away shirt.
Fluorescent yellow isn’t Sheffield United colours, but they get lapped up. Yellow, great, but not one that looks like a Fire Marshall.

Wasn't that driven by Warnock given his previous experience of the top flight came with Notts County? It really wasn't a good idea, whatever the reasons behind it.

Worst kit for me not mentioned so far is the first Adidas home shirt. It's just poor, from the central Adidas logo to the United badge tacked on too low as an afterthought and rounded off by that awful sponsor box. I was looking forward to seeing our first Adidas shirt after the Macron era and it turned out to look like a Sunday league team's.

Not sure how I never realised it looks that awful. Sunday league is the right word for it. Just looks like a generic shirt with a half arsed logo and sponsor on it.

Never likes the ones where we were sponsored by 'Blades'
