Apologies if already been posted. Either way haven't seen it discussed so must be been a while at least so maybe time for a fresh debate...

THIS.

The quality (shocking), the sponsor (plasticky and cracked and wore off from a few washes), the design, the promo (laughable), the obscurity of our team at the time (febian fuckin brandy!), our awful non-ending league one status, the away kit... should i go on?

It was like waving the white flag when walking out onto the pitch.

It just was not “Sheffield United”

Anything other than red and white bars is just bullshit.

It should have been an away shirt. It was decent enough anywhere else, just not a Sheffield United kit.

And it was a season late for the anniversary too!

The Macron kit with the big red floppy collar is up there for me, 2009/10.

Harry Hill collar, Macron quality, ie everything that isn't embroidered peels or cracks, and it feels like one of the Tony Daws soccer school shirts I had in the 90s.

That marketing though 🔥

Might be an unpopular opinion but I was never keen on the Notts County away kit we had:

So glad we have done away with shite kit manufacturers like Macron... woeful quality. Le Coq wasn't far behind either

Really didn't like it. We cocked up the premier league kits as much as we cocked up the premier league campaign didn't we? Massive, baggy collars and black and white stripes to alternate from red and white stripes. What's that all about? Were we trying to piss off Tyneside and Wearside simultaneously?!

I defy anyone to tell me that this kit is not a thing of absolute beauty!

The Purple and Yellow away kit in the same season? Yes please!!
Weirdo 🤪

Wasn't that driven by Warnock given his previous experience of the top flight came with Notts County? It really wasn't a good idea, whatever the reasons behind it.

Worst kit for me not mentioned so far is the first Adidas home shirt. It's just poor, from the central Adidas logo to the United badge tacked on too low as an afterthought and rounded off by that awful sponsor box. I was looking forward to seeing our first Adidas shirt after the Macron era and it turned out to look like a Sunday league team's.

No chance, that's my favourite ever United away kit!
2nd best for me. This one is my favourite
