Looking forward to this and for some reason I have a feeling in me waters we'll sneak a win. Had a few this afternoon, tacos for dinner and a nice 8.30pm coverage start on Sky with beers in the fridge.

This thread just shows how desperate we are for Seriki, Burrows and One to be back fit and available.

That would be my eventual preferred XI, notwithstanding the current injured players coming back I.e. Seriki.

I think the challenge is perhaps some are not quite there in terms of fitness.

It’s definitely a match to start Doherty.

I may be inclined to play Choudhury instead of Phillips at the start if the latter still not quite ready. Peck I’d play as an 8. Then I’m just toying with having a deep double pivot with Riedewald or continuing with Rothwell.

I’m imagining what having a deep double pivot feels like

But..but..we have Ayew now Swiss ..

And i am sure he'll do ok, I just think that at the moment, West Ham and Wolves are levels above in terms of the squads they have.

They're obviously not unbeatable, but i think the threat that they pose in an attacking sense is too much for us and our attacking players are not at the same levels.

Hopefully we are solid and can set up to defend well as our weakness has been in defending, but i think it might come too soon for our patched up squad
