Wolves are very good going forward...

...their attacking performance against Reading was impressive (their defensive one less so!). But then I suppose they ought to be do good going forward, they've spent enough on transfer fees and continue to spend a lot on wages! Their first goal was class!

I think they are the pace setters thus far and its brilliant to see my Blades up there with them. Unlike other 'promotion races' (I use that phrase lightly, as I'm tempering my expectations) I don't feel the pressure to match what they do week in, week out. For me the pressure is truly off my Blades. We've spent sod all, unlike them we didn't ought to be there as a minimum on the basis of resources, money spent, expectations and players signed - we're up there at the moment on merit and hard work. Instead, I feel as though each matchday is a chance to appreciate being back at this level after so long, a chance to test ourselves against some quality opposition and see if we can hold our own or at least stay true to playing our way, the way that was so successful last season.

...and my Blades keep on making me feel very proud, whatever the result, and long may it continue. Give me this United side, built on a comparative shoestring and without the budgets and egos of many other sides in the division.

The Wolves goalie won them that game.
Reading had them under big pressure, had 66% possession and much more shots and attacks.

Where as when we played Reading they were totally outclassed.
Don’t think they had a single shot until about the 75th minute.
Admit though that Reading did look good for the last 5 minutes + injury time.

Also when we played Wolves at the Lane I know they were down to 10 men but even taking that into account they were underwhelming and take away the soft penalty never had a serious chance to score. It was a fairly comfortable 2-0 win.

They do seem to have a number of players who are above Championship level. I suppose that was bound to happen eventually with the money they've spent. But I think the biggest difference is that they've now got a good manager.

Funny that despite the spending differences we've both got a £20m player on the bench!

Posters should go and have a look at their games from now on until the end of December - they have a tough run of games - certainly harder than ours.

If they are still above us as the year turns to 2018, they will have done well and may just say the ARE favourites for the league.

Are they tippy-tappy or do they have what's required to get through a tough winter period - I think we do, not convinced by them having the same resilience.

I'm more concerned with Cardiff who seem to eke out results when they're it playing well and I'm always looking at the gap between us and 3rd and seventh

Still think making the play offs with this squad would be a phenomenal achievement

The majority on here are remaining reasonably grounded. 'Let's take one game at a time', 'Enjoy the journey' etc etc.

However in football one opportunity comes along and you have to grasp it. If we don't get promotion this season then don't let's get carried away with the thought that it will happen next season.

There's been far too many examples of clubs who have failed at the final hurdle and taken years if at all to put things right. The three play off clubs that didn't make it last season are struggling this season.

This could be our chance and we need to take full advantage.

They say theres always a couple teams who start well who will fall away , well Leeds and Ipswich already have so its less likely we will
