We are in desparate need for a quality winger - that can be bothered to charge up and down the wing all day - like from yesterday at Scunny - a nice wide pitch plenty of room down the wings to whip in a quality ball - just look how Scunny played it got it out wide and had a go - Not quite sure why we cant do that

I agree, a key component for a winger is pace and unfortunately the only option we have with a bit of pace is young Quinny.

Perhaps we have to look at shifting Shelton or Webber out wide.

step up carney.

But until he is fully fit i think it should be webber when hecame on yesterday he gave us a diffrent dimension he was willing to run at players, hes fast can pass and is willing to run at defences he is what we need.

personally, i thought the pitch was very narror and all they did was play the long ball yesterday.

i too have high hopes for this lad, i havent been to either cup game so could someone who has let me know if he has pace?

He's not lightening quick, but he's certainly not slow. Confident on the ball and not afraid to keep having a go at taking people on.

Why don't we ever try Shelton or Webber on the wings?

I think we need to try something - Beattie said when he joined that he loves crosses into the box so he can get onto the end of it - proven also he has scored twice from a cross into the box and he has met it with a solid header

We need someone who will go to the byline, not try and get a cross in there not angling it in. Anyone who watched the championship today would have notice a certain Paul Ifill doing just that:D

Webber will beat a man but is always heading for goal. Carney will put it across, Hendrie looked useful as well. Squinny and Fathi seem to be on the bottom end of Robbo's plans - don't know why, but parhaps they will get their chance after Scunny.

Young Quinn as in Stevey?

He is VERY slow and has no pace....

can put a cross in though and we need that at the moment

My memory must be letting me down, i'm sure i saw him go past his men on numerous occassions last season; granted i only saw him on the few homes games in which he appeared.

I thought Wing Play was a new Korean we were getting in on loan :(

I don't disagree he is positive, creative or attacking because he is. But I've never seen him taking on players as a whole, or even being fast either.....
