Bournemouth are, of course, worldbeaters. One point in front of shit and faeces has a game in hand.

I fancy us to win tomorrow. It will make getting up at half 5 and aproximately 9 hours on a train worthwhile.

As regards Mr Wilson. I went down to the Lane earlier to pick some tickets as they players were boarding the team bus and finally had chance to apologise face to face in person about the car park protest and he gracefully accepted it. I know as a manager he has his faults and is not everyone's cup of tea, but as a man he is a genuinely decent fella. He said the one thing he liked about our club was the way he had been accepted and the passion of the fans, and said he wanted to be liked and respected by fans of both Sheffield clubs just like Derek Dooley was when I joked with him about his notorious past!

From a historical perspective:

- Bournemouth have won the grand total of one game against United, at the Lane on the first day of the 1987-8 season - Bournemouth's first ever game in the second flight.

- United have never lost at Bournemouth

- United have won on their last 4 league visits to Bournemouth, their longest current run anywhere.

- United have beaten Bournemouth in 7 straight matches (away in 1988, double in league in 1990, cup in 1990, double last season, at home this season).

I still think we lose. It's a Big Game. We do not normally win Big Games.

But sometimes we do!
