Apparently rumour is we have offered him a short term deal to return to us.

Maybe he would accept a rolling monthly contract on lower terms?

I wouldn't have him back but I think Danny left the door ajar for him.
If he does come back and puts in some lacklustre performances then I am sure he will get some merciless stick off the crowd. Probably not a good idea.

Williamson is a good player, you can't deny that.
I do think if he put in the work and effort (unlike he's shown at pompy) he'd help us on our way to promotion.

He had a rolling contract at Pompey on better wages than we could offer. Yet put in some sub standard performances.

Id like to think we could go for someone other than Williamsom. However i think because hes a free agent thats were we will be fishing until the end of the season.

One of the most unpopular players at the lane ever amongst his team mates. Yep get back a player offered the same terms as others that he declined. That will help everyone.. Do we think the players don't care? Long, Maguire, Doyle ,McDonald, etc..... We have a poor team at the minute but the people shouting for warnock , Harley,Williamson etc are the same people who slagged them all off....not sure how we get any thing out of this at all...fans booing a kid in goal! Grow up.

Has anybody suggested that? Seems some (and I'm one) would have him back on OUR terms and based solely on him being better than what's in the team.

Don't care about what? Williamson? Wouldn't know how they feel about him. About the club? They're professionals, I presume they have pride in their performance but as for SUFC, no I don't think they do, we pay their wages that's as far as it goes for most (if not all) of them.

No they aren't. The people calling for Warnock are the same ones who have been in mourning ever since he left.
To be honest, I don't remember Harley getting any stick anyway.
As for Williamson, he was well liked last season when he finally got out on the pitch. I suggest those that were "offended" by his actions and words when he departed are not the ones who would have him back now.
