When (or if should you be in the don’t count chickens camp) we get promoted. Will you miss the Sheffield Derby?

For me absolutely not, I’m not ashamed to admit that after promotion from league one I was buzzing for the derby again and the first one was amazing.

However, the past 3 have been awful (the first 2 just us battering them for 90 mins and not quite getting over the line.

The strange thing is bar the first one I’ve not even really cared about them due to our focuses shifting to promotion, not cared about bragging rights and only time I’ve really thought of them is just in terms of how the points effect our promotion campaign.

A mate of mine earlier said that he’d miss the derby should we get promoted and was surprised as honestly I could care less after the position we’re in and how the entire DNA of the club has evolved over the past few seasons.

No. The last two games at the Lane were awful and I didn't even enjoy the build up. I say if we win on Saturday we forget about the Pigs for a while. We'll have bigger fish to fry. Plus Bouncing Day will live long in the memory. We have a chance to be the Number 1 club in Yorkshire.

They'll miss hanging onto our coat tails for a bit of excitement (if we go up)

Yeah agree, to be fair though I wouldn’t even say as far as if we win Saturday. I’ve not really given two fucks about them all season and have only really been interested in the promotion race.

Only posted this today as a mate earlier said he’d miss it

I won't. Dull, nervy games which seem to have the potential to derail us.

Not one bit. I enjoy it less and less with each game that passes.

The pre match build up is the best bit.

Fuckin hate Derbies...........unless we win, then it's the best feeling.

Would much rather be a league better than them though........should that happen.

Hopefully after Satdi, nope

Being part of the elite, we'll have bigger fish to fry :)

No....in many ways one of the worse matches....too much hassle and nerves.

^^^^100% this^^^^^

Bouncing Day aside, they’ve been easily the least enjoyable games since we escaped the 3rd Div, and even the lead in to B Day was just pure grimness. Let’s be honest, too. Giving West Ham a severe tupping or three would be just as pleasurable as swinging a pig.

if they were like the 1st one yes. but last 3 Wednesday have ruined any enjoyment a fan or a neutral might have by being so overly defensive that a 4th one like that where they refuse to attack wouldve gotten boring

No. If you nuked the whole of swillsborough with them in it all id miss is is laughing at their shithole of a ground. Hate them and everything about them.
